I thought this might be an idea, as things get a bit fraught over the next few days.

I have resigned myself to not getting a ticket. What a year to give up my season ticket.

Has anyone been to a game at the new Wembley? I can get our tickets in the first wave, but I need to ensure that I can sit through the game. I am not able to stand for more than a few minutes at a time so if I end up in a "Northamesque" enclave I am going to have a pretty miserable afternoon

Tone, if I get a ticket and can't use it for any reason (family emergency, illness or whatever) then you'd be welcome to it. I've got 5 (registered) homes so I should just scrape in hopefully. The morning of Saturday 11th is going to be a bit nail-biting!
My Mum's only got 1 home so she's in the same boat as you. She pointed out that when my Uncle and Granddad went in '76 they had to sit separately but I don't think they were that bothered. I'm not fussed about that either as long as I get in.
If only I'd got West Ham tickets in time and then Backwater would have had 5 too. Boo!

As I said in another thread I'm heading down and hoping I can get a ticket there.
Plenty people deservedly ahead of me in the queue but won't stop me enjoying the day out.

I'm never quite sure how legal it is, but I'm yet to go to a big game where there haven't been touts outside. I was at Wembley for the Bayern v Dortmund CL final (doing a photography project) and I had plenty of opportunities to get a ticket if I wanted.

I will be there with a fist full of notes, I've never not got into a game that I've wanted to go to, I have either found a ticket from somewhere before or I have bought tickets off people outside the ground. I've rarely bought them from touts as there is always someone whose brother/friend hasn't turned up. In the good old days we used to double up on the turnstile, I've bored you before about getting a ticket at Dellhurst Park and sitting with the players wives, I was also in the Coventry end for the last game of the season. I went to a Spurs semi final with my mates and wasn't really that bothered about leaving the pub when someone offered me a ticket for tenner in the Newcastle end. You have just got to get down early and have a walkabout. Still it doesn't beat getting a ticket before hand and knowing that you can just enjoy the day.

It's not legal, my mate claimed that he was buying a ticket of a tout outside of Newcastles SJP and a policeman came over and said what's going on here then, the tout said he was just giving a ticket to his friend, so the policemen said go on then give to him, so the tout did and then the policeman said to my mate, ok then son off you go, so my mate did and got the ticket for nothing. The tout just had to swallow it and move on somewhere else.

Touts will be my last resort to be honest.
Asked a few guys I used to play football with down that way if they can ask around for anyone that can't make it.
To see both my Saints win a cup within 5 years of each other would be amazing

I have 5 registered home games and so does my dad, but he is not a member, dad will not be going to Wembley, so if anyone wants to stump up £25 for his membership and have his ticket for Wembley then your welcome... How sure are we that 5 games will guarantee a ticket?
