Monday Bloody Monday
At least the traffic wasn't too bad, I guess some kids must still be on half term.
Nice enough weekend, with a tasty family lunch yesterday.. still mulling over my car light problem. I can't bring myself to pay someone to change a bulb ffs, but I don't really want to take the wheel off and faff around on the floor trying to find some mysterious panel.
Still waiting to find out if my mate will come to this party Sat so we can go up together Sun.. seems the ideal plan to me, but he's wussing out at the moment.

Morning
Taking a couple of days off. Planning to see that Lego Batman movie today but forgot it's half term so the place will probably be full of kids... Bloody kids, ruining a cartoon about a toy superhero for me
This week is just going to build to a point I'm not going to be able to function, still can't believe we're off to Wembley this weekend

So, good morning you guys - feels like the early-90s ZDS week all over again.
European countries trolling the POTUS is a thing in 2017, you know.
I must also stress that late 70s Donna Summer is a wonderful thing.

Good morning
Rosie has to lose a stack of weight. That makes two of us. As of the middle of this week (after I've eaten the pizza and fresh pasta already in the fridge) I have to count every gram of carbs I eat and take blood sugars 4 times a day (FFS!) Rosie doesn't have to go through all that but I do have to wash and dry her minge, then put cream on it twice a day. Rubber gloves are called for as the cream has steroids in it - the vet wants us to treat the dog, not me!
Off out to lunch today. Better have a jacket spud while I still can. Drew will try and get a blood test and we'll walk the dogs on the beach somewhere. Better get moving.

Why do Mondays always follow great weekends?

Morning!
Family is home having fun for presidents day, but I'm at work. Was on this weekend and had someone try to kick me in the face. Not really his fault, in withdrawals and won't even remember it by now. Bought an iPad for work because the microsoft version of our software is slow and crashes a lot. Realized I have notes from a couple of weeks ago to complete, which can only be done with the windows version, so I now have 2 computers open to perform essentially the same thing. Cut my finger a couple of days ago and discovered the kids have used up all the bandaids *except* the spiderman ones we bought specifically for them. Tried to go without a bandaid but I keep running into things and opening it up again, which is particuarly poor form when at work. Norah Jones is auditory opium.

Why do Mondays always follow great weekends? I blame the Ancient Babylonians, although the Romans have a lot to answer for. That Constantine... always mixing it up.

Greetings, at home, recovering from a stomach bug picked up in Cornwall in the final days of half-term. If I can trace it to the Tropical Biome dome at Eden then I'll name it Grockle Fever and it'll be A Thing, you know. I'll get skooba to help me market it. (Locals or ex-locals may wish to verify the spelling of Grockle, btw.) Should have been having a meeting with a prospective new client today, though. However, my ticket for That Final arrived while we were away, which cheered me up quite a lot.
