Swansea are currently beating Liverpool (and the game is nearly finished), so we'll be just 2 points off bottom (although 4 points from 10th!±)

VVD will solve Liverpools problems, first league match and he misheaders it for their goal. Still he set up a golden chance at the end from which they hit the post and Lallana couldn't control the rebound. It looked like Lallana was holding back the tears as he walked off at the end.

Is it me or did Klopp do what both Pellegrino and Puel inexplicably never did and that's put The Clap up top when chasing a game?

I don't think he was explicitly upfront but he did get forward, he was certainly up for all the corners. The late chip he put in was lovely and it should have been an assist.

It’s now February and I really can’t bear it.
If Saints get relegated again I reserve the right to have a breakdown.

If we go down, if, it's really quite criminal. If you think about the talent that's come through this club in the last few years and the profits we've made on that we shouldn't be anywhere near this position in what is a very week premier league season in the bottom half. It's complete mismanagement from top to bottom. The problem is the answer was there this Jan, early, with masses of money to spend, clear out the manager and let a new one spend it. But it didn't happen, all that did happen was MP got backed by being allowed to bring in his man(who showed promise last night)

Whatever others may say, while Mauricio Pellegrino is manager, a win just seems so unlikely. That is just plain criminal with the squad that we have.

This team (and that bench!!) should never be near relegation, despite Shlongs best non scoring efforts, although TBF his game, which he is good at, is to run around fast and distract defenders from what the real strikers are doing. Obviously this will not work if there are no other strikers on the pitch.
If I didn’t know better I could almost believe this situation is deliberate. There are occasional dark mutterings of the real goal of the new owner being developing land rather than growing a football club. Of course we will never find out as the guy is a apparently a deaf mute, as opposed to the manager who is just deaf. We dodged SISU, but is this similar?
I really do fear a Sunderland or (shudder) Coventry if we go down this time

Updated
we need to get 38 Points to be safe, (although I think 36 will probably be enough)
To get 38 Points we need 3 wins and 3 draws from these 8 games
Burnley a Stoke h Newcastle a Swansea a West Ham a Bournemouth h Leicester a Everton a
Meaning any points from these would be a bonus
Liverpool h Arsenal a Chelsea h Man City h
We can do this !
