Won't feel bad about supporting Holland on Friday now.

Ok, I guess thats good news... sounds like putting us first. I doubt that very much. He's been desperate to leave for a while now and this is his last realistic chance of starting at a WC. I think his chances of being in the starting XI for the first WC match are very much in the balance. It's very likely that Southgate is going to play 3-5-2 and if he does that then it's odds-on he'll play Ashley (I play for a Big Club) Young. Bertrand really needed to play well in these two games to have a chance of being the first choice LB/LWB at the WC so assume he is gutted at missing out. I've no doubt it's a genuine injury but works out well for us as long as he's fir for West Ham.

And there's always the chance of Southgate throwing in a total wildcard and picking Sessegnon. If Bertrand misses out entirely I think he'll out on strike until he gets a move away from little old Saints!

Big club bias from Southgate, like the way he's dropped Cahill and Smalling to pick players like Tarkowski instead?
Honestly, the conspiracy theories on here!

I think the only conspiracy theory is the one about Bertrand throwing a sickie (and his WC chances) in order to train for a relegation battle of club he really wants to get away from!
