Phew, I got through the night without any mishaps.
Grey and damp, but not cold this morning. Listened to lots of noisy nonsense on the way in, which was nice. Now I need tea.
Looking forward to the footer tonight.

Sun is shining - Jackdaws on the nuts. All is well with the world.
Going to visit some carthorses near Redruth today. Hope they'll prove as interestong as the lobsters we met yesterday in Padstow.
Confident the ressies will do the biz tonight. COYR!

Some parts here they call them War horses, or the Great horse.. usually the Suffolk Punch is referred to in those terms..a noble animal ! but a 'carthorse' could be a donkey even Suffolk Punch The Norfolk 'Shire'

Morning.
We spent all day in the New Forest, bar a couple of hours in Milford to have a look at the sea and get the cobwebs blown away.
Today it's back to work and no internet access, so that is another day without posting on here till much later.
Not going to the match, so will sit and listen online this evening. Might be a tight game.

Managed to avoid looking like Sweeney Todd had shaved me this morning, by not bothering! That'll go down well at my Boat Show corporate lunch and wander!

Morning sunny. Wednesday is a non-school day and when I am working from home it involves a lot of driving the girls to piano lessons, dancing and Japanese lessons - not leaving much time for guitar pract ... er, I mean work. I shall be listening in tonight. I enjoy listening to matches these days. I remember the dark days when Jimmy Case was on and people complained that he sounded so miserable - but, frankly, it is hardly surprising considering the crap he was having to talk about. DM positively glows over t'interweb.

Morning laddies and lady.
I've been awake since 3.30am apart from a brief doze between 5.30 and 6.30. Don't have kids is my advice. They're cute but deadly. It's Miss Y's first full day at school today and she's going to be really tired and grumpy.
I wanted to go tonight but I'm too overdrawn so will have to tune into Saints Player instead while shopping for new bedroom furniture. Don't get married, that's my advice. You have to spend money you don't have on home furnishings instead of footy.
I watched some of the first half of Leeds v Man U but it was too one sided so I gave up and watched the rest of the atrocious Burke and Hare. Don't bother!

Most of them sound pretty miserable and I find our commentators are better at conveying what's actually happening on the pitch. Maybe that's because I tend to switch over when we're tonking them to hear all the nice things they say about us - but they're just miserable. Can't think why.

Morning you load of fancy Dans...grey drizzle here, but at least the boss is still off. Looks like we're in a similar boat, Yates... multiple assaults during the night from an overaffectionate and rather moist pussy mean I'm going to be quite tired and grumpy. Hopefully the game tonight will cheer me up - anyone know if it's available for free anywhere, since I can't go? Carthorses? Shires? What's the difference, in France they're all dejeuner... Marmitey toast with my coffee, Jay & Bob - I note that Red State is out this week in the UK; would be interested to hear any reviews if anyone goes.

Morning you buckets of loveliness.
My essay on Pelvic Inflammatory Disease for an open book exam is slowly but grimly going forward.
Trust Pat to start putting up horse pr0n. No wonder the Blue Few think we have an equine fetish. (Phwoooar though, eh?!)
More writing n reading n that, then off to buy some ingredients for a nice dinner. Lamb envelopes with fresh veg I think.

Morning people I'm looking forward to hearing Blackmore reading out texts on Solent later. Let's hope he finds time to do some commentary too. TBF on Saturday, he did not read out text messages during the game. He had clearly received the message as he stated he would not read them during the game but asked listeners to keep them coming for half time and full time. I think he does a decent job commentating.

Morning people I like walking at Keyhaven, Channers. There are usually some unusual birds on display too. I'm looking forward to hearing Blackmore reading out texts on Solent later. Let's hope he finds time to do some commentary too. Quite right Jezza. I recall many a happy holiday in Normandy and Brittany eating steak à cheval & frites. The first Mrs Rover used to be partial to tripe in calvados but she was a Leeds supporter & I should have known better. I don't mind a bit of cheval myself, tbh. I had a very nice Bresaola of geegee in Italy a little while back. Not sure I'd go for the tripe in calvados tho..., speaking of offal did you ever go to La Trotte D'Or in Normandy?

Good morning to all,
Very bright & sunny morning up here in Warwick.
I will be driving back South this afternoon for a cracking evening of silky Saints football.
Branflakes & a very "burnt" coffee in the hotel this moring. I had to top-up with a large Latte on getting in to the office.
Meetings all day.

A nice bit of liver and bacon is as close as I get bit to the strange parts of animals insides.
