What Ho defiant rabble!
Sussex(E) is lovely n'sunny but I'm off to Hants(S) where I hope it is equally nice as I plan to walk around unchallenged in a PO postcode.
I watched ManUre V Chelski last night - it held my interest but not vastly entertaining. Torres looked as if he was playing wearing boots 2 sizes too small.
Must dash...have a good day, y'all

What ho
Only watched the ManUre/Chelski game until Masterchef started last night. I just can't get interested in watching either of those two teams. Saw the goal though and that Ryan Giggs is not a bad player is he? I reckon he's the new Adam Lallana. Busy day ahead again so can't hang around. Will be in Jehram's manor later today so if you see a strange bloke going through your bins Jezza don't be alarmed. Have a good day everyone

Morning Baz, and indeed, morning to everyone.
The beautiful sunshine streaming in through the window is currently being complemented by an espresso from my Tassimo machine, which is always a very nice way to start the day.
Am viewing a couple of offices this morning as my business empire metamorphoses from a work-from-home affair into a proper grown-up business. Then I shall be taking my daughter to Madame Tussauds, which I am less excited about, but should be fun anyway. I had a particularly great moment yesterday when my daughter rang her mother and asked her if she could extend her stay here with me until Sunday, explaining the reason 'because i love being with my daddy'. For her, this is quite something, given that she is already showing many teenage tendencies even at the age of 7.
Anyhoo. I can't work out what would be a good haul from the next two games, or even what we should expect. My gut is telling me that we will get 3 points in London, but our trip to the north will be less easy. Both have something to play for and will therefore try to win the game, which will play into our hands. I think this explains why we have a better away record against the better teams. I hope we keep the same back four as tuesday night but i fear changes to the midfield will need to be made. Since some tactical errors early in his Saints career, Our Nige has proven that he is learning quickly and by and large he gets the tactical decisions right. And because of this I think we will get between 3 and 4 points from these next two. 6 is something of a pipedream, but if it does happen i think we will take some stopping.
Anyway I shall now cut this post off as it is developing to 19c proportions. To whom, incidentally, a warm welcome.

And hello to you.
Looks nice and sunny out there, but I think I'll stay here for a little longer with a cup of tea and the new Citizen Fish album.
Got to go to the school tonight to talk about my daughter's options. Fudge'in heck, options, that's like serious grown up stuff. Luckily, although she's not 13 until next week she's far more mature about this stuff than me, I still feel like I've done something wrong when I talk to teachers. And I'm married to a teacher.

Good news Baz, it's glorious weather in the PO postcodes!
Couldn't bear to watch the dross-fest that was Manure-Chelski so did the only thing a proper football fan should do and watched Barca - Shaktar. It's fair to say that they are a bit special those Barca boys.

Morning all, and what a breath of fresh air it is over here.
This morning was a bit frantic with trying to find daughters summer shoes, polishing, then finding they don't fit anymore, dealing with tears as she will be the only one in trousers etc etc. Problem solved with sandals! Then remembering I should have stopped for petrol on way home last night and couldn't be bothered so queuing for 10 mins in Tescos with all the other poor planners.
Anyway window open, sun shining on the Hamble, coffee in hand, Hayseed Dixie on the player (until boss arrives anyway)

morning, I'm now into the last stretch of my two weeks leave and I am kind of not looking forward to going back to work but kind of am as well, people are peculiar (me most peculiarly peculiar it seems).
I tried to watch Chelsea versus Ferguson yesterday but even though it was in front of my eyes I couldn't raise much enthusiasm for it, the only thing I did rouse from my lethargy for was the blatant Man United Bias of the ITV commentator, I think he needed a warm place to stay because Ferguson's arse was obviously his bunk for the evening!
I don't know what to think about Orient, on one hand I remember them as being quite difficult to break down at home and challenging place to visit (unlike other people's memory of them). On the other hand, their recent run of form has been really poor & our injuries and game load is quite ridiculous at the moment but we should have enough I would have thought?.
All in all, I'm honestly not sure what may occur but COYR anyway…

The magazine of choice for the discerning kerb-crawler! (wave) to Rags - careful now, remember what I've said about our cat, FFS! TBH you were probably closer to me yesterday - my work's only spitting distance from Mitcham... as it happens, you won't be the only Ampshire resident in the area today, as my old folks are coming up for dinner this eve. Well it's sunny here too...how lovely that I shall spend much of the day in a tin can, eh. I suspect FC is right and we should make the most of it as the "real summer" will be crap...that's why we haven't booked any festivals this year...I have just booked a very exciting gig (see other thread). Welcome to all new Fugees... marmitey toast with my coffee, Pendulum

Morning cockers, It’s very wet and grey up here, but I’ve just been uplifted by a stupendous sale at sports direct. They’re floggin blades shirts for a tenner . I’ve had a look to see if there’s anything for you lot but it would appear not, unfortunately . I’ll be wearing my new shirt, shorts, socks and sweat bands to the FA Youth Cup Final after last nights result too . Thank you.

Morning all- hurrah, non contact time. Although to be fair, my class have been adorable lately. We made pop-up books yesterday and I spent the entire afternoon laughing my arse off. One of them drew something that I couldn't quite make sense of, so I asked him what it was. "It's a pig growing a beard." "Of course it is." Then one little girl drew an anatomically correct (and extremely well-endowed) horse.
I am very nervous about Saturday and Tuesday (I'm going to both games). I've developed all sorts of absurd superstitions, one of which is wearing the same red hoodie/black leather jacket combination to every game, as this particular ensemble is yet to witness a Saints defeat. This insane habit is going to get increasingly uncomfortable if the weather remains this glorious for the rest of the season. I really can't see us winning at Orient for some reason...
I jibbed Chelsea-United (a fixture in which I have zero interest) in favour of Barca last night, and was rewarded with what seems to be their standard display. It is impossible not to enjoy watching Barcelona.

This didn't happen if you don't have pics!!! It is impossible not to enjoy watching Barcelona. Yep, indeed. I've got this shocking mental picture of your face when a horses todger came springing out of the pages of a Yr3 pupils book!
