Let's hope he gets a hat trick against them.

Crowdfund for a contract out on Levy?
Who is in?

It's an interesting one. The bean counters of the club will be saying that if they sell him for £50-60m then the clubs finances are immediately on an even keel.
The small problem with this is that you will lose the player who scored almost half of our teams goals last season and massively piss off the manager which would lead to almost certain relegation and loss of 000s of millions in PL revenue.
You would hope that, in a Euros preceding season, Ings himself wouldn't want to go to where he is playing second fiddle to Kane. It's also a bonus that Poch is no longer there. What striker in his right mind would want to go and play for Mourinho?

You just know there will be someone in his ear tomorrow*.
Is it just me or do Spurs behave worse than other clubs in their dealings generally and more specifically with us? Constantly toying with the outer limits of what is legal? I suppose one of the bonuses of Covid is that it will be harder for Levy to accidentally bump into Ings at whaterver restaurant etc he uses and shower him with used notes.
Cant stand the under-achieving self-entitled twats.
* And Sunday obviously.

What striker in his right mind would want to go and play for Mourinho? Love the sentiment, but not like you to not be realistic about these things. Fact is that Spurs have a track record of consistently being able to attract Saints players and managers, regardless of whether we as fans think that it seems not to be a sensible move, and this will be no different. Look, he might not move there, but there's no way that it'll be because we've agreed a fee with Spurs and then Ings says 'no I'd prefer to stay at Saints'. The only way it won't happen is if Spurs listen to Saints initial 'not for sale' message and think that it's not worth the effort, or they make some bids that we reject and they think the price is too high. I actually think there's a fairly good chance that it won't happen, because although of course Spurs would like him, I don't see him having a major role there. With Kane, Bale and Son, he just doesn't seem a priority for them at the likely price and his age.

Remember this is slightly different to our usual way of working in selling a young talent who has come good. This is an experienced player who has already left a mid-table club to get his dream move to one of the big boys. It didn't work out and he is back with a mid-table club. Second time around players seem a bit more reticent to leave when things are going well. Betrand has had some of the big boys sniffing around in years gone past but is still here likewise with Zaha at Palace. I think the lure of playing at the Euros will play a part too. If he stays at Saints, if he scores goals, he will be in the England Squad, with Spurs he cannot even guarantee getting on the pitch each week.

Hope you're right, but I think he'd be off if Saints were offered a deal that the club thought was good. I do agree that he's unlikely to sulk about anything, so hopefully we can resist. Also, another minor bit of bad news for us is that I read on Twitter that Liverpool will get a sell-on % if he does go Edit: of course, that might well not be true anyway

However, the chances of selling Ings and not getting relegated are very low as you will have lost your scorer of 50% of our goals and massively pissed off a manager too good for us to boot.

Less attractive to the Saints bean-counters.
