morning fellows Not so much building today but carpentry, I would also like to be seeing an electrician and a plasterer but apparently they have other ideas…! I now have 3 doors on my house (excluding external ones), I am positively revelling in the luxury of the privacy it affords!! I've just been interviewed to become a trustee of a national charity, I think it went well, it will be a fair bit of work for No money but it's a great cause and I am looking forward to helping them out if they will let me. If Saints continue to be shit (and I seem to care less and less about most of the other teams in the league), I may well be switching my attention back to Serie A if the Juventus vs Sampdoria game I saw a couple of days ago is anything to go by, that was some very good football played by some very good footballers. And a lot of it is available on freesports Right, back to supervising the lone workmen and trying to get some of those other bastards to turn up on site…

Guten Arvo
Funeral is tomorrow. Just printed off the Order of Service and last job is to draw some mind maps to help me deliver a coherent Eulogy. Still sound like the Gruffalo but I'm now taking the tablets capsules.
Took dogs over to Mike's earlier and he managed to get them walked in the (relative) dry. Had really pissed down as I drove over the Downs so lucky there. He told me a lovely reminiscence re Drew which I shall refer to tomorrow.
Listening to Craig Ogden. Will be playing him performing Memories of the Alhambra as Drew arrives at the Crem tomorrow. Other music is the Main Theme to Road to Perdition and (as suggested on this board) Dire Straits' Brothers in Arms.

Afternoon from our grand tour, weather's gone a bit tits after some grand days. Having a quieter one today as it's been frantic...have ticked off folks in surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Hertfordshire & Suffolk, now we're in Essex before popping back to S London and finishing off in Kent.
Bit of a scare yesterday when we thought they'd banned visiting houses, but it appears that's N Ireland.
