Morning Scummers
Whilst Heidi loves the heat my ancient English Cocker does not. Took them for a nice long walk on Culver yesterday with a cooling breeze coming off the sea and larks singing their hearts out overhead. Today we are out early, before the heat and the GBP become too much.
Will watch the golf mostly today. Saffers doing really well particularly our leader. Saw some of Oosthuizen's round yesterday and he'd hardly have done better had he picked up his ball and carried it to where he fancied taking his next shot from. "In the zone" as they say. Glad Rory made the cut. Poor bugger carries the weight of British expectation at every major and plays like it. Jordan Spieth appears to be over his "yips" and I'll be looking forward to watching him in the penultimate pairing today.
Keep out of the Sun!!

Morning
Off to take the dog for a walk at The National Arboretum before it gets too hot. At least the trees will provide a decent amount of shade.
Looking forward to watching the new format sprint race at Silverstone this afternoon, which will decide the grid for tomorrows British Grand Prix
Otherwise the weekend will be spent avoiding people, as COVID rips through the population. <sarcasm>Good job Boris</sarcasm>

Getting to actually know people who have caught it which makes things worse and a much closer reality.

UK infection rate on target to beat the highest ever previous record within 2/3 days of "Freedom Day".
Clueless.

Afternoon
Hot indeed.. I had to stay home for the builders (who didn't turn up) and decorator (who did) so have mainly been chilling, but have got the shop done for a bbq later.
Now off to meet the Mrs and friend who've been car booting, to see if there's any spots left on the beach.
Covid higher than Jan peak here now, interestingly, more people in masks at the shops than there have been for a few weeks.

Man, this Honduras - Panama match to see who advances in the gold cup is a great game. Both sides playing at full sprint.
