TBF I thought he had died years ago - I thought he was the '17 bottles of larger before a match' guy.

TBF I thought he had died years ago - I thought he was the '17 bottles of larger before a match' guy. 30+bottles according to the media and that is self abuse.

Funny to think about what people put into their bodies.
Janis, Jim, Jimi, Keith and John, Brian, Lowell, Gram, Phil, Elvis, Judy, Sid, Vince, Whitney, Amy, Michael, Prince, Tom and even one of the Righteous Brothers - so many talented musicians could not complete their lives because they wanted something more. They all turned to drugs and/or booze and allowed me to outlive them. The line between genius and madness is blurred and addiction carries you over it.
Makes it all the more surprising that others survived. Watched a documentary on Eric Clapton last night and he certainly did all he could to join the above Supergroup yet, despite failed relationships, the loss of his son and huge volumes liquor and drugs, in old age he is such a calm, likeable and still talented guy. Mike and his family took me to see him at the Albert Hall when I retired and you simply could not tell what scars he has acquired down the years.
There nowt so queer as folk.
