What a day, what a match! The first day at St.Mary's with a full crowd (Eventually, after teething problems with the ticket reading machines meant fans were delayed getting in all the way around the ground. A software issue apparently) since the pandemic began over eighteen months ago and it was Manchester United. Nerve wracking and exciting all at the same time. Masks were not very much in evidence on the concourses, or the various corridors. The match itself was a cracker, Saints were superb and could well have snatched the result at the death. There is a revolution taking place with the team and Ralph is forging a new improved squad, even if there is not much in the way of funds. This looks like it just might be a good season. What will the naysayers make of that?! So, an excellent report from spot51 to document this landmark game can be found here, on the IBO website. COYR!!
