..lumme, it looks chilly there. Pity the poor souls who've trekked up there if we don't win. I'm not confident that our pretty passing football's going to work too well in the freezer.

this is one of those times when if Alex Ferguson was around he would be right about camouflage shirts!
I can't see our players or the football!

I'm really not confident now, I just saw Nigel do the "diamond" symbol to his players, that usually presages intense banality from saints…
bloody hell, I don't get it, Sharp would know how to play in this blizzard, he is from Yorkshire after all!

Why is the ball not changed to an orange one? That ball is almost invisible against the white pitch FFS...

I saw that too.. Mind, we're looking a bit more composed now; we need to get something from this spell though; by hook or crook.

we need "lump it and follow through", this requires pace, we don't have any on the pitch, not that I mind playing football but this is not the weather to do it in!

The commentators made a good point about Puncheon and Lallana having an advantage against the taller Brum players, in that they can turn more quickly than taller players. Applies to Connolly as well.
Puncheon is looking good again.

we seem to be quite dominant at the moment but not really creating anything looks like a shooting opportunity, let's see in the second half

61% possession and no goals.

61% possession and no goals. Not great, but on the other hand, if we keep the ball the whole of the rest of the game, we're unlikely to lose. I just had to go look outside cos I was sure it'd be a blizzard out there!

just raining here, going for dinner, I hope to come back to us being three up but I suspect I will just come back to us being covered in snow hunting for an invisible football!

Raining with me too. Davis has made a couple of quality saves. Think we are looking the better side and good to see Sharp on.
Come on!!

What exactly is Don Goodman's job? We changed the system twice during the first half without him commenting on it and the only mention of it came from the pitchside reporter who overheard Adkins shouting at the players to switch.
