Sad face.
Watched the first half of Spain v Uruguay last night, was nodding off by half time so went to bed. Those Spanish rotters wouldn't let Gaston have the ball.
Kettle is on.

Howdy. In the classroom. Sunny out ... Gaston was taken off at half time, I saw. Did not see the match.

Morning
I went to bed after the first half hour. I have never seen such a one sided game. Awful. For Uruguay. Spain were simply awesome.
Trying to second guess the weather today. The plan was to meet with other family members at Stourhead today, but the weather looks mixed at best. Think we will go anyway and if the others want to meet us there, great.
Right. Tea.

It's just another yukky Monday. At least I'm not graduating today like some poor sods at our place. The boss is off all week too.
I recorded the Uruguay game but it doesn't sound worth watching back so I'll probably just delete it.
I've been reading about Ever Banega on Saints Web. I'd heard the stories but hasn't realised they were all about him. He sounds like a bit of a character. Saints have supposedly put a bid in now...if this comes to fruition hopefully MoPo will be able to tame him. If not, there must be plenty of other decent players who are less of a handful!
I had a nice weekend. My Dad seemed ok after his op, although my Mum said he was 'even more woolly-headed than usual.'
Mrs and Miss Y took me out for Father's Day lunch yesterday. The food was nice apart from an uncooked prawn. Hopefully we won't suffer any ill effects.
Have a nice day y'all.

Morning
Not a bad day for sport yesterday. Hampshire's own Johannesburg-born Justin Rose wins the US open, Murray wins at Queens and Pirlo celebrates his 100th cap by scoring that goal at the Maracana. Good stuff!
Am exhausted and the weather bloke says it will get more humid - how can it get more humid when it has barely stopped raining FFS? Suppose they are only talking about that London as usual.
Cereal. Four Men and a Dog.

"He is a passionate Newell's Old Boys supporter, having a tattoo of his hometown club's crest on the back of his right leg."
Sign him up FFS

Morning all, greyish here..
Bad start after a bad night's sleep; the epic wasters have closed one of the local roads so there was a 45min queue to get out of our road and I was late before I'd even got on the main road; thanks a fecking bunch..so had to go straight into meetings and have only just had coffee and brekkie (marmitey toast); big monthly meeting with the Cheeses also in a coupla mins and I'm about as alert as sloth on crack.
Didn't see any of the above sport, I'm still catching up on last week's cricket.. like Yates I +d the footer and may now delete it; should've recorded the cricket instead it seems. Yesterday was a bit of a write-off, pottered a bit and spent most of the afternoon keeping an eye on the cat as it was its first day out.. had a nice roast duck with marmelade glaze for dinner, though.
toodle pip!

There are some glorious moments but I can't help thinking he's finally run out of ideas lyrically. Plus there's the usual problem I have with them, i.e. at times it's just too painfully sad for me. On the plus side, 'Graceless' is a good example of their Joy Division-like knack of occasionally making sorrow sound exhilarating.
