Irrespective of the handball, at 2-0 up at half time we could and should have gone on to win that.

Seems like in the second half they are trying too hard to force the breakaway counterattack when it’s not there, and tiring themselves out. Why not just play keep away and let the other team tire themselves out?
Really unfortunate that handball goal was allowed. Conceding the late goal has really been the story of the season.

And people are against VAR? I still don’t get why cheating is just accepted in football.

Clear cheating I hope there is retrospective action

Clear cheating I hope there is retrospective action Let's hope so, but sadly it won't bring our two points back. And Roger East is a fecking awful referee. He seemed happy to book our people but not theirs.

Cheating or not, it's still another game without a win... how long can they let this continue? OK you can't blame the manager for that goal, but given he's been setting us up defensively our defensive discipline leaves something to be desired with bad mistakes in the lead up to both goals.
We need to address the lack of physical power in the team too, we had the edge over Palace and Watford but got mugged by big lads having a go at us.

Trouble is, the handball controversy will probably buy the clown more time.

appalling game management is what Lost us those 2 points.
Yes, the referee was shit but, ultimately, if you can't keep it 2-0 lead away to Watford when the only tactic they had to employ against us was hoofing it over the top to the big blokes then, I'm afraid, you are Shit at your job (manager)

Luckily, we have an easy home game next to recover.

Almost predictable suicide second half after bossing it. Nobody has mentioned the keeper's failure to gather what looked like an easy catch for him which led to the second "goal". I thought Stephens was poor after the break and Hoedt not a lot better under pressure. A watford fan would probably say they should have had a penalty on 75 mins.

Irrespective of the handball, at 2-0 up at half time we could and should have gone on to win that. Spot on. That's two league games in a row where we've been in control and then second have we ship two goals, it's cost us 5 points. What the feck does the manager do at half time!

A lot of fans on the train slitting their wrists which will upset Les Reed due to lower season ticket sales

I disagree. Judging by that telegraph article, anything other than a convincing win could well see him get the chop. My feelingometer has served my quite well this season as long as I don’t vocalise it to people, it is telling me we will lose this one. Here’s to hoping that 100% miss rate when I tell people will continue. The major positive if we win well is a certain thundertwunt will go missing after seeing his beloved Silva continue to prove him wrong. Do you feel you are getting a mite obsessed with me? I'm not reaching for the burning torches and the pitchforks yet.
1st half we were our usual dominant selves, decent football forcing Watford into a tactical substitution. Job done.
2nd half became a cup tie. They knew the consequences of losing. Our most consistent performer for years, Steven Davis OBE, inexcusably gives the ball away. McCarthy makes a great save but the ball is forced home. CUP TIE football ensues. Yes we failed to retain possession. Yes we invited them on but they chucked the lot at us.
2nd goal is an utter howler by McCarthy and a blatant DOUBLE handball.
I think we have enough to survive this. The Pellegrino the club thought they employed might emerge from all this. Puel....anyone? He might not.
Having said all that I did suggest that MP stay in the dugout at halftime in the match day comments thingy.
Optimus Hedge is optimistic.
