If we beat Ipswich then all is forgiven. Hmm. It would make me look a little bit silly. So, is it in my interest for us to win (and I look silly) or lose (and I look prescient)?

We've been poor defensively recently. That first match back was crucial for trying to buid some confidence/momentum. Its no secret to the manager that we've regularly not put games to bed throughout the season. So...I dont think hindsight comes into it. The right call at the time was clearly to try to shut up shop and counter, or whatever the variation of that is from a team who plays our way.
Its small margins, but our season comes down to a bit of naivety tactically in these moments, a few dodgy starting line ups during the season and the Ross Stewart non event.
I have little confidence in heart or head for our chances in the playoffs. From what I saw of the players on Friday, Im doubtful they really believe either. The one chance I see is the manager getting more savvy tactically.
