I wondered how long it would be before Sir Jim raided his other club Nice to strengthen Man U.
Expected to see maybe Moffi, Thuram or their excellent Polish keeper Bulka trekking north but it seems French left back Melvin Bard is likely to be the first. Bard is close to an international call up and is usually a shoe in at the left end of their back four. Last weekend he was on the bench so Perraud started.
He is there on a "loan to buy" contract but, with Bard ahead of him, neither he nor Nice may have wanted the "buy" bit. If Bard does move, Perraud could be first choice at Nice so that sale may now go ahead. Not sure what we'll get for him but player sales are required this summer to build for whichever division we end up in.
You can get long odds on Ten Hag still being at United next season and Sir Jim is interested in Ipswich's Kieran McKenna who worked there under Jose and OGS. That would open the door for Jadon Sancho to return. The winger is back to his best at Dortmund but the yellows can't afford to buy him back.
