Is it now? Up way too early.. we have to medicate the cat at consistent 12-hourly intervals, so settled on 7 as that's the easiest during the week, but it's a c*n* at the weekend. Not helped by staying up last night to watch the interesting Eagles documentary, either. Decent enough day I guess, pleasant weather and sorted the front garden; but aching from wielding the strimmer (it's a big petrol fooker, which makes it easier to cause havoc, but light it ain't FFS); not looking forward to tackling the back garden today though, there's twice as much grass there and whereas managed to sort the other stuff out the front, I suspect today will just be hacking and mowing. Followed it up with a barbie; lamb chops and spicy sausages with a jersey royal salad. Same again today on that front, except the bbq will be pulled pork and corn on the cob; a bit more hassle as I'll have to precook it, but should be worth it.. Tea, cricket highlights.

Knackered.
I have to go to Gosport today, daughter is playing in a netball tournament. I just want to sit here and snooze.
I don't even have time for another tea.

Certainly Sunday - morning too. Good is more subjective.
Cooler and greyer here and that seems to be the rule for the coming week. At least it isn't pissing down like in Montreal. Looks like the F1 lads used up most of their foul-weather boots in qualifying so if it rains again today, there could be carnage.
Sad to see the final episode of Arne Dahl last night. Has been an excellent series. The Nordic slot reverts to Wallander repeats next week but as the bulk of Saturday TV is uttershite (and that is being kind) I'll probably watch them again.
Bit more gardening today perhaps; the mild sort.
Still working my way through the Camel anthology. Sausage baps again - thought there were 6 in the pack but there were 12 FFS.
Have a good day.

Wotcha!
Grey in Sussex(E) too.
I watched that Eagles documentary too and Sky+ed it for when Ms StB gets home. I'm looking forward to seeing the second part. I left the TV on to watch a bit of the following prog - Californian bands/singers on the OGWT but fell asleep as it started. Fortunately I recorded that too.
I fancy a roast dinner - would it be greedy to make one just for me? It may be as I'm salivating at the thought of a leg of lamb that's sitting in the freezer!
U21 match was rubbish. Why do we have such a bland bunch of no-hopers running football in England (the FA), whatever did we, the Great British Public, do to deserve them.
Tea etc.
Have a good day y'all

Morning.
Been talking to MissC in Auckland extolling the virtues of heat pumps. I said my skin was a heat pump, after getting sun burnt yesterday. On top of which we have to cut back a six foot high hedge alongside a path this morning.
I better get on then.

Howdy. Long trip out to Bahrain yesterday, via Amsterdam and then Abu Dhabi. Nice hotel though. I think I might like it here.

Can sympathise with your cat problem, We have an 18 year and five month old bitch. Had to take her to the vet yesterday fearing that she would have to be put down. Not ashamed to admit that for two days I had the occasional sniffle at the thought. She has a anal gland tumor and a vaginal problem but has been medicated for the moment. We have been warned that in the near future we will have to make a decision that we have no wish to. Just hope and pray she slips away quitely in her sleep one night. Fishing again tonight, had a 16lb mirror carp last evening after spending the afternoon photographing my granddaughter on her 14th birthday.

Sorry to hear that, we had a similar trauma with our last cat; in the end we had to have him put down.. ..this one's a bit different as she's only 3 so hopefully the medication will sort her.

Bike Ride this morning, 31 miles bagged in the wind, up and round Thuxton and back, LB couldn't be arsed.
Gardening, fete, Grand Prix in that order.
Also found the Eagles bio last night, usually that sort of thing is shite, and I'm not even a fan, but it was a great documentary. I'm now in love with 1973 Linda Ronstadt.

Afternoon. Weeding and digging done. Just about to do a ready meal as the missus is out for the day. Tikka massala I think.
We enjoyed the Eagles doc too. Looking forward to part two tonight. May record it and watch it tomorrow as it's on late and I need to be up and ready for the double glaziers tomorrow.
Samsung have just upgraded me from Ice Cream Sandwich to Jelly Bean which is fun except it seemed to flatten my battery in double quick time.
