Bleurgh! Mrs Y is off sick with Tramadol withdrawal symptoms. I think she needs the GP to hook her up with some more.
She reckoned there was something in the loft last night. Auditory hallucinations are one of the symptoms.
Just say no, kids.

No work for me today. I get to listen to music work on the on-line shop and take a cycle up to the post office to send some lovely vinyl on its way to some luck person in Oxfordshire.
I may have another the firs though.

God morgon I-beasts; dank here
On high alert here as the uber-cheeses are over from Sweden; everyone's been spit and polished and allegedly on best behaviour. No doubt it'll be a wasted effort as they'll stick their heads in for 30 seconds then hole up in the boardroom.. stupid corporate nonsense.
Not much else to report; watched the new Poirot last night, Suchet always amuses me.
Aye, that Tramadol is pretty hardcore; the Mrs has a stash for her back and I've had the odd one in dire emergency...
TCGTE, coffee n shredded wheat, grey.. some blueberry cake for 11sies (some mad woman here couldn't sleep last night so baked a whole lot of cakes for the office!)

Morning Happy Smiley People - and the rest of you.
Sky is as grey as a Man Yoo away kit FFS and my joints are aching in sympathy. Need to trek over to Newport today but with the Pop Festival one way system up and running my visit will require the very lightest of touches - in and out like a car park knee trembler.
Yesterday evening turned out lovely. Walked dogs in Appley Park and the views over Spithead were super. Hardly any bugger about though - few early festivalists weighed down with rucksacks and tents, the odd jogger and a bloke with a cocker spaniel, a French bulldog and a couple of sprogs. Guess most of the locals are battening down the hatches till Tuesday.
Watched the 2nd D-Day prog. Jeez! Then Crane did another excellent tour, this time of Enniskillen. Frack me gently!
Jordans. Silence.

Yeah we also have a stash of Tramadol. I took it once, after a dentist visit, and I literally didn't give a shit about anything for the rest of the day. It was, like, awesome.

Morning.
Signed off again as I am, at this point, mad. Going to volunteer at the Oxfam Music shop though, where I will appear relatively normal.
Just renewed ST which has me buzzing a bit, so hold tight.

Just renewed ST which has me buzzing a bit, so hold tight. I love the Oxfam Record shop, I buy stuff from there pretty regularly, I'll say hello next time I'm in town. I have thought about volunteering, but I want to sell my own records. Maybe they'd let me move in upstairs or something?

He'd probably let you do whatever you want.

I'm off down there now with all my records.
