...and everyone else.
Good result for us last night, now watch us stuff up today.
I woke up thinking about work, that can't be right can it? I need tea and an earful of loud, noisy rubbish.

Morning all
Woke up all happy and shiny. Watching the BBC news about various groups of nutcases around the World/the UK has made me feel slightly less optomistic but I can only worry about the things I can do anything about I suppose. Looking forward to the game today but then I always do. I'm afraid I'm one of those annoying people who always thinks we will win, even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. I suppose it's because I don't ever get too upset when we lose, it's only a game. Have a good day m'lords and ladies.

Morning all, bright shiny thing out there today...
..would be perfick for a trip to the South Coast, but I'll have to settle for dusting off the mower and gardening geegaws instead; meh. Thanks to Bmuff for saving our bacon last night; I turned it on at 3-1 and grumbled...should've left it in FPS! Hopefully we can profit from this and consolidate our claim today then.
Tea only so far, but got some kippers lined up for brekkie; have a goodun y'all.

Morning Tony - and all. I am suddenly feeling confident that we will suddenly click today and go on an amazing run. I think it's Stephens - I really hope he provides that missing link. Thanks Bornmuff. I think I'll take advantage of my visit to at last get a sky+ HD box and take it back. Not sure about the requirement to have a phone line in the back though. I will try the Kingsland out on Tuesday. Never been there.

G'Morning MK Watchers.
Sussex(E) is clear n'sunny - I'm still a little under the weather so todays trip to SMS is deffo off as is tomorrows Mother's day Lunch (for me) with Ms StB and her Ma and, maybe, Monday's golf lesson. All my fault so next time the surgeon tells me to go home and rest for a few days I should listen and not immediately go out to lunch, have bonfires etc. etc.
Never mind, a win for the boys is in order today and I'll be there for the next one.
TOTP night on BBC4 last night was very good - I watched it right through until 1-30 and multi-tasked by eating yoghurt and reading Keef's autobiography.
Porridge, nil, nil
Have a good day, y'all
P.S. Chris - I believe the telephone requirement for a Sky+ box is so that you can do online gambling and get pay-films etc. Mine has been unplugged many times and never seems to affect normal stuff.

Hey Baz what did you think of Keef's book? Daughter No.1 bought it for me at Xmas and I've just finished reading it.
It was a lot more interesting and less depressing than I expected once you got past the childhood stuff. He clearly doesn't like Mick and his preening too much - something that always put me off the Stones.
I've listened to his solo stuff and Vintage Winos CD with renewed interest.

Morning.
Dad still hanging on in there. Gathering of the clans led to great entertainment when it came to the who sleeps where moment. Beds carried back and forth, bedding not fitting, floor being too hard. I had pulled rank and claimed the spare room.
The one really bright spot in the day was Bournemuff denying Posh deep into injury time. Now the big test is today. When we have had opportunities like this in recent years we have stuffed them up. Now we will see how determined we really are.
Time to go. 3 points please Saints.

It seems the same as you - got it for Xmas and lost interest after the first few pages - picked it up again while house-bound and it's picked up. I'm still in the 60s (Brian has just died) - I have to say it's certainly brought back a few memories of those days; including when I saw them (as a 12 or 13 y/o) on the same bill as the Everly Bros, Bo Diddly etc. I seem to be reading quite a few pop biogs recently; McCartney, John Peel, Hendrix, Rossi & Parfitt, Clapton. It must be nostalgia time.

It must be nostalgia time. I read the latest Zep one and the Nick Kent autobiography a while back. It can be quite disillusioning to read what sort of lives your heroes lead. I picked up the Howard Sounes one on Macca for a couple of quid recently. I enjoyed the one he wrote on Dylan.
