That sounded like a fine comeback. Must have been good. What I like most is the thought of Boro and Huddersfield fans thinking they were storming away from us and then the disappointment. other foot and boot are words that spring to mind.

When we got our first goal I knew we would win. The players showed the spirit that promoted teams need and the manner of victory will do more for our promotion push than an easy 2 nil win. They must surely have the belief now.

I was pleased for Forte, I wasn't sure he was right for us, but he did well today and took his goals very well.
It's nice to see Saints playing like a team, there seems to be a real togetherness. And the fans, for the most part, seem to be right there with the team.
And another thing, not posting on the Ugly makes following Saints much more pleasurable.

Can't wait til Tuesday. Thanks for the posts. As for the Ugly, I shall start a new thread on that NOW.

I have found that the fans have been pretty much with the team all season. There only seems to be disharmony (is that actually a word?) on silly forums.

To me that was a key moment in the season. At two nil down I was thinking that this was chance we had stuffed up, but the manager and team are made of stronger stuff than previous versions.
The manager made some key changes, the players dug in and the goals flowed. The importance of an Adkins signing turning the game should not be underestimated.
A game of huge positives to take into Tuesday.

Thx for the reviews..
Interesting to note Nige thought similar with his Beeb interview.
And that Forte was Jonno Quick in nabbing his goals, FFS!

I still think Adkins is a bit of a prat (and the bizarre persistence with the midfield diamond when the players are clearly uncomfortable with it is very frustrating), but what an inspired substitution. If Forte does nothing else this season (which is entirely plausible) but we end up going up, he'll have been a good signing. I also thought Dale Stephens looked the part- wanted the ball, used it sensibly and was keen to get forward. He should start ahead of Chaplow on Tuesday.

I should also add that Lallana was absolutely inspirational. All this bollocks about him lacking pace too... he didn't exactly look slow when he was slaloming through the MK defence. What a player.

Lallana was immense as was Barnard. People are being a tad harsh on Chappers.......if as Pat was reporting he was struggling to be match fit then I would suggest that is why he wasn't his usual self. I would start Stephens and Richardson tomorrow but everything else as saturdays start.
