Odd start to the day; I woke up with blood all over my nose, and it wasn't as the result of a nosebleed. Somehow, during the night I received a cut on the end of my nose. The only sensible reason I can think of is we were visited in the night by a short sighted vampire.
Got a busy morning ahead, but first tea.
J Church.

Hmmm, it's obviously one of those days. I put a new razor blade in this morning, shaved in the shower as usual, thought that it may be pulling a bit, got out, dried my face and found that I look like I've been using one of my cats to shave with!

Wotcha!
Overcast here, but supposed to stay dry. I've got blood on my chin but that's a result of nicking it while shaving.
Unusually for me I spent most of yesterday evening watching TV; Universally Challenged, Only Connect, Sandhurst and HIG(old)NFY. It made a pleasant change. And I sky+'ed something about a submarine mission on C5 which I shall watch later.
Golf later
Have a good day, y'all

Morning all. I think it will be nice later. Cold start, dew all over and sun trying to break through. Watched that Pink Floyd thing last night. Excellent. I now know why DSOTM was the last Floyd album I bought. I then spent over an hour watching Grateful Dead on You Tube!! Shopping done. Grateful Dead in the car.

Good spooky morning all. I cut myself shaving and watched my alma mater crush those London upstarts in Uni Challenge.
'Goldsmith's - Bush!' They also had a bloke whose surname was Pauline.
Mrs Y doesn't let me watch Only Connect because she finds it too annoying. We started Burke and Hare (lame) instead but gave up and got an early night. Mrs Y has been a ratty insomniac recently but slept well last night so I'm less likely to receive a stab wound now.
I must watch Sunday's match back on Saints Player one evening this week. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow while Mrs Y works late.
I've got to help out with the Freshers' Fair for an hour this afternoon. Give me strength!

Good moaning altitude-sufferers and haemophiliacs alike, I didn't cut myself, as I usually (except once a week) use an electric razor now, it's not so close, but it sure is less traumatic...I certainly wouldn't shave in the shower, that way madness lies. Was fairly busy last night, but managed to catch an ep of the Borgias...more blood and bawdiness and now featuring the pneumatic Emmanuelle Chiquri (sp?) Hopefully it'll be a quiet day today so I can catch up - I was only away 4 days last week and had 150+ emails (real ones) to sift through yesterday...the boss is away, which means it could go either way. Shreddies and coffee here, Smodcast

Morning.
Blooming wet again.
Spent most of the day at Tyntesfield yesterday. Got there at 11 and spent 11/2 hours going round the house. Then walked back to the café (in the old stable block), had something to eat and walked back down to the house in time to join the afternoon garden walk, which took till 4.15pm. It is about half a mile downhill from the entrance/café/shop to the house and we did that twice. The grounds cover some 500 acres and by the end of the day it felt like we had covered most of that!
Going down to the coast today. Haven't decided where exactly. It will probably depend on what the weather is doing.

My preggers wife woke up in the middle of the night with a nose bleed! I don't wet shave ever but I do clean my teeth in the shower. This morning I'll be re listening to Lanterns of the Lake, to see if I want to keep it or not. I'm a member of Rough Trade CD club and get sent one every month, if you don't like it you can send it back and get another, it's brilliant...I'll keep you posted.

morning all,no blood for me either but mostly knackered as daughter decided she was insomniac as well, seven is turning out to be a very bad year for children!
Tone, I like the imagery, although for some reason what comes to mind when I read i is somebody using one of those little blood testers to get a drop of blood out of somebody's finger (like the things used by people with low/high blood sugar etc) I can imagine somebody creeping in in the middle of the night putting one on the end of your nose and then hitting the button (although it would be amusing I would imagine you would wake up in that circumstance?)
Could you ask your wife to try it and film it and see if it really is as funny as I think it will be?

When I got up I walked past my daughter's room and there was a light on and one of her book cases had moved. Someone was definitely in our house last night. I have seen strange things before, figures moving just out of sight, strange reflections in the fireplace and things falling off the wall/shelves. It's a good thing I don't believe in ghosts.

There you go then, sleepwalking, you obviously got up, walked into your daughters bookcase with your nose & got back into bed and went to sleep!
weirdo
PS get your wife to do the nose thing anyway and film it, it will become a youtube classic I promise

I do have a history of sleepwalking. Ok, I will sort out the filming thing, I'm sure it will go down well at home.
