Morning from Geneva waiting for pick up. Great feeling waking today after the game last night. We are going up. At last

Yateley, you are kidding aren't you? Amazing how much pressure you can put on a team when you play proper full backs. Butterfield didn't do a lot wrong at RB but isn't Richardson, Harding wouldn't even get in a Sunday side. Lambert's allround game has been superb since Christmas/New Year. He knows that people will be marking him tight so he's happy to go walkabout, hold the ball up, use it wisely and, having drawn defenders out of their space, allow Barnard/Guly/Chaplow/Hammond/Lallana etc. to take that space and create chances. I just don't understand Mr Adkins' reasoning. I'm not a fan of Harding but I think Butterfield has been very steady at right back. Saints are certainly not short of full backs.

As I've said many, many times on the other place and since on here, Butterfield hasn't done a lot wrong at all but he's NOT a RB so there's limitations to what he offers. He certainly hasn't got Richardson's engine and he's not as quick. However as a CM/RM (which is where he's played most of his career) he's excellent so let's see him drop in there and provide some real quality.

The guy is built like a brick sh*thouse- I'm sure he could stand to lose some bulk (and by that I mean muscle, I'm not saying he's fat) from his upper body. I can't see that a full back needs to be that muscular and I wouldn't be surprised if the extra weight he has to carry around has contributed to the number of injuries he's had (see also Tremlett, Chris).

He is a fine figure of a man. But if he decides to swap shirts he might want to wear a bigger size !!!!!
