Spuds last night, Manure and Chelski tonight, do you support them as they are EPL teams or do they now bear such little relation to the football that we know and love in L1 (and England as a team) that you don't care?

I watched both Arsenal games as I like the way they play. Spuds I can put up with as I'm not anti 'arry. Man Yoo and Chelski leave me cold but then so did Liverpool. It is probably more to do with the fact that those three clubs have probably the most odious fans I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

Not being the patriotic type I couldn't give a stuff where a team comes from. I did want Fulham do do well in Europe last season, but couldn't care less about Man U or Chelsea. Now Roma are out I'd like to see Barcelona win it because they play the best football.
Generally though the Champions League is of little interest to me. Make it a knock-out cup again and I'd be more inclined to watch it.

I usually vaguely support whichever English team is playing in yerp, tho in Spurs and Manure's case I'm almost equally happy to see them humiliated. Funnily enough I almost went to tonight's game as a mate (blue end) offered me a ticket, but it's a bit on the pricey side for mild interest... Can't say I'm hugely interested in the England team nowadays either.

I just can't do it. It was with much amusement that I listened to Ray "Cut me and I'm Blue" Wilkins keep talking about Spurs in the collective - "we've got to hold on to the ball better", "we need to love the ball", "we need to take stock, settle down"......etc. etc. - but I just can't get any enthusiasm or passion for them and I know it'll be the same, if not worse, tonight when I really couldn't give a feck who wins.
Real (who I hate with a passion) gave Spurs a footballing lesson last night, in the same way that Barca did to Arsenal (and everyone else) and what I want to see is English football learning from it rather than just proclaiming that "we're the best" when quite clearly we aren't!
