Going by the weekend Predictions not many on here are confident of a Saints win

Given that we've only won away twice this season you would have to say the pessimism is warranted.

We have yet to win a match on Saturday.

Hah, that reminds me, I left that prediction blank as I couldn't decide! I'll go back and fill it in.

There we go. Two from Manolo, I reckon.

I am not confident at all, but the rot has to stop sometime.

One quality most of our players have, and are bought for, is adaptability. If we get a period without facing new injuries then I think things will settle and we'll turn it around. The quality is there, and the players are set till summer, at least.
The Cup final may be a factor in how quickly. Let's hope whatever destabilising factors led to the Europa whimper have worked their way out of the system by 26th. (And that Jose M thinks he has bigger fish to fry!)

Thought that this may as well be the MatchDay Thread, as it is heading that way.

Not at all confident. But then I'm normally the optimist so maybe it's time for a change in fortunes.
After a resounding victory last week, you would normally think this was a great fixture for them to keep the momentum going, but let's not underestimate what a shit club Sunderland are, so there's just as much chance that they'll feck it up today.
3-0 Sunderland.

if we lose this, we are going to be seen as in crisis, and Claude is going to be under a helluva lot of media pressure about keeping his job.

Gumption is the order of the day.. do enough of our players have it? Sunlun will certainly crack if we put enough pressure on them, but equally their backs are against the walls and we haven't done well against teams who make it a battle.

I'm going for a Saints win purely based on the fact the players probably felt they let everyone down last week

I'm confident of a Saints win, we are better than last week and they are worse. Puel has had them all week and if the team are as together as I suspect then they will give it a good go. If either through skill or luck we get a foot hold in the game then I am sure that we will be ok today.
