What a lovely morning it is too.
England safely qualified for Euro 2012 and Scotland only need beat Lichenstein and, er, Spain to join them.
Vettel on pole in Japan may not sound a surprise but Hamilton was quicker and getting tangled up with MSC rather than stuck into a final quick lap was rather unwise. Still, Vettel has been the class act this year and has earned the admiration of his peers. Alonso, Button and Hamilton all reckon he deserves the title this year so who are we to question them?
I've engineered a free weekend - not sure quite how, but I intend to make the most of it. I'll start by staying away from that tedious drivel happening in NZ at the mo!
Oh yes. And come on you Jocks!

Morning all.
What sort of idiot volunteers to work on an Open Day on a Saturday? I had to get up normal time so it feels like a weekday. At least I should be able to head off before the scheduled finish at 4pm and lunch is laid on too. The powers that be are obviously concerned about our poor national student survey results as both big bosses are turning up today. It's a shame as I was hoping to stand around and chat to my Brummy mate.
Mrs Y's snoring woke me up at 5am but Miss Y exacted revenge on my behalf by waking up and interrupting Mrs Y's sex dream starring Aiden Gillen. I stood there naked and asked her what he had that I didn't and she said 'An Irish accent, lots of money and a big c0ck.' She saw it in a film apparently. That's me told then.
I was thinking about getting up early to watch rugby but it didn't happen. The only thing I saw on telly this morning was a gawd awful Puppy in my pocket cartoon. I'm never going to catch any rugby unless NZ switches to BST. I saw a smug looking bloke in a Welsh rugby top in town so I'm assuming they won.
At least I'm not missing a Saints match today. I had to work late last night and forgot all about the England game.

Hey ho, let's go. Been up ages, showered, shaved and logged into work to check everything is swell. I've also added a few new contributions to the new issue of our fanzine, and I'm now ready for some tea, toast and probably some Futurama.
Watched England with my dad. It was rubbish and we both agreed that Saints were far better to watch.
No footer to watch today, sadly. But my daughter is playing netball this morning, so that should be good.
Ive just realised I've been up since just before 7 and haven't played any music. Maybe I'm not well?

Good Morning Vietnam...er, Sussex(East) and beyond
I've drawn back the curtains to see what the weather is like and it's very nondescript. Who knows what the rest of the day will be like.
England V France has just started so I'll sit down with some tea and watch the rest of it in a minute. Spot, were you frightened by a rugby player when you were little? Surely anyone with an appreciation of sport and the drama of competition could enjoy watching this level of tournament even if, like me, you don't understand the finer points of the game. Most odd.
What a bozo that Rooney is - they should lock up the whole family by the sounds of it. Or at least neuter the whole bunch of them. But I was pleased by the outcome for Montenegro's sake.
I have exercises to do for my bad foot - it may take some time to clear up but at least it shouldn't interfere with golf... hurrah!
Tea, toast and TV
Have a good day, y'all

Morning. Woke early and then got up to watch a cracking game between Wales and Ireland. Wales deserved their victory. I have to record the England match as off out to try a car with Mrs Mando. I feel cheated because I missed the last three Saints games while Stateside and now there isn't one today. Boo.

Morning all, looks a bit dull out;
Had a nice dinner last night; but much wine was dined, so I'm feeling a little delicate. Woke at 8 and thought about trying to go back to sleep but it wasn't happening, so am watching the rugby instead... it's not pretty, in fact it's embarrasing. Our Irish mate was awfully confident last night, so at least when we lose he won't be able to rub it in when we see him again tonight. Tonight should be good though... wedding dinner at a really nice Turkish restaurant.
Yates, you need to assert yourself with this situation. If you spot your Mrs watching this Gillan feller, change the channel or cover her eyes. I have been forced to take similar firm action with MrsJ and that Bean chap.
Tone, re Futurama - have you managed to see any of the new new ones; despite them being out for some time in the States, Sky seem to have a problem with showing them?

Morning.
I see the England Rugby team doing their best to emulate the soccer ball team and be pathetic. Looking forward to the possibility of an All Blacks v Australia game. No love lost in either direction. Just the hint of a possibility of a Wales v All Blacks final. The two countries with more sheep than people. A nice sort of symmetry.
May get some hot water today. The plumber is calling in about half an hour to change the tank in the roof. Hoo-bloody-ray.
PS I am not knocking anyone who gets of their arses and goes to actually watch England play football, but I would rather watch my local team play. It's all the overpaid players and the FA in particular that ruin it for me. One day it will change. It did for Saints, so why not?

Morning all. The death knell is sounding for our involvement in the world cup. I am watching it, but thankfully sit no sound as i forgot to charge my headset and I don't want to wake sleeping beauty, and young MissBatts has purloined the downstairs TV for her Hannah Montana watching pleasure.
Been up since 530 because I fell asleep around 10pm and my body is tuned to get an exact amount of sleep every night. So i wrote a presentation in preparation for a pitch I am doing in Jersey next week. If I may say so myself, it is rather good.

Yes, seen all the new ones. very funny. Off tinterweb? I guess. A guy at work, er, acquired them and passed them on. I'm currently working my way through the whole lot from the start. I'm up to series three at the moment.
