Good day Knob-scratchers Killing time till my brother emerges from his pit so we can watch the Grand Prix which is currently recording. (Yes - the red light is on so itIS recording). Scotland never make it wasy to watch them but a win in Vaduz puts them second behind Spain, ahead of the cheating Czecks. Small matter of a win in Alicante on Tuesday and they'll be play-off bound. Craig Mackail-Smith made his first start and scored the only goal. Hadn't realised what a hefty bloke he is (must be the girly haircut). The home team had some big lumps playing in defence but he was knocking them around - unless of course he happened to be in the box when he went to ground hoping the ref would give a penalty. So what went wrong with the egg-chasing? I may not follow it but last week's TV and radio talked about little else and one thing that was clear was that England were going to tonk the Frogs out of sight. Could it be that the muscle bound piss-artists didn't have pride in the shirt or is that a charge only levelled at our footballers when they get beaten by a better side? One thing is clear - Rugby pundits are just as deluded as Football ones when it comes to over-egging England's chances in international competition. The thing I love most about retirement is that it gives me my weekends back. When I worked I spent a lot of my weekends chasing round after other fookers but now I can do all that during the week and do what I want on Saturdays and Sundays - and that sometimes means doing absolutely feck all. Lovely!

Morning. Cold and wet here. Autumn has set in. We decided yesterday to get a new Fiesta for Mrs Mando. It's not about pride and effort in the rugby, we are not very good and our coach is not the great messiah he was as captain or we should he would be as coach. Hopefully he will soon be history. SCW clearly did have something. Also, the French are unpredictable and had not been performing all year. They chose yesterday to click and turn it on and when they do turn it on, they can be very very good. Full English to do this morning. I am watching the Grand Prix if you are looking for a plot spoiler Spot?

Coo-eee A saturday without footer is rubbish. My daughter lost her netball match, but I still enjoyed watching her, she's progressed so much and I think she got frustrated yesterday with some of her team not thinking as quickly as she does. Oh well, she's playing for the under 16's on Monday (she's under 14). Not sure what today will hold, hopefully I won't have to rush into work like I did yesterday morning. Music - Epic Problem. Now I need tea, and toast.

Wotcha!
Mainly overcast again... but pleasantly autumnal. I shan't giveaway the Japanese GP story in case others have, like Spot, not seen the results of it - but a good weekend's sport. Just the Kiwis V the Argies left of the egg chasing to complete. I see Sky's 4p.m. match today is Notts Co V Hartlepool. I may go to the pictures and watch TTSS.
I have an eerily empty weekend too but mine's mainly because I had planned on being on the other side of the channel which my, temporary, lack of passport put the kibbosh on.
Have a good day, y'all

Afternoon.
Big news is that we have hot water again. I hope this is the concluding part of the water saga. Now to compose a stropogram to Wessex Water.
Enjoyed the All Blacks v Argentina. Good game and the Argies gave the AB's a scare. The AB's enter the ADC (After Dan Carter) era with hope. I suspect that Richie McCaw is the one they really need to keep fit though.
Great drive by Jenson in the Japanese GP and enjoyed that. Vettel is very much a worthy champion.
Will watch the highlights of Australia v South Africa later.
Lunchtime then.

Why aren't I in Bolton FPS I loved the Sops first time round but TBF I gave up watching the repeats on Sky Atlantic - I could remember most of the plots so it lost some of its excitement. Did see Boardwalk on Saturday though - quality Emmy winning stuff.

I haven't got a knob actually. And I'm at work again so it's not a good morning. Although I am surrounded by knobs, I do not want to scratch them. If I were to win the lottery by a few million I could buy the house next door to Rafa Nadal and still have money to live on.

Can't you retrain as a masseuse and get a job as his personal assistant?
