With Millwall drawing at Boro we are still 2 points clear ... of the Hammers. Roll on Tuesday.

I would have taken a point before the game. Tuesday night is going to be a great one, lets hope we can keep our home form going. I had a message from the game today saying that a Derby steward punched a Saints fan. Looks like they have a bastard chairman too.

definitely take that, according to the (very brief) bit on the BBC website it seems like Derby were saved by their keeper as well?
Didn't hear it myself though so could just be a biased report?
Tuesday will be a really good game as West Ham have really got their tail up at the moment, that one won't end in a draw (or maybe it will be 4-4?)

Derby scored practically from the ko. We took a while to get going then dominated for the middle hour. Should have (could have) scored a few. After our equalizer we let Derby back in and they could have won - but then so could we in the last few minutes. I felt relief when that whistle went after 7 minutes of extra time!

I'dve taken the point beforehand, and definitely was happy to after the 3rd minute, but at the end felt a bit disappointed. However, with Boro and other teams drawing and bearing in mind we were missing Lala, I guess it's a decent point.

It's a good point, I just hope we can do better against the Ammers.

If we get to the end of the season and the league table looks like it is now. I'll take that.

I am happy with the point, but more than that, I am beginning to believe that Saints have what it takes ... Looking forward to Tuesday night. Oh yes!

Their goal was offside. Apparently.
I'm scared about Tuesday.

Their goal was offside. Apparently. I'm scared about Tuesday. Don't be. What today has proved to me, was that even without Adam Lallana, who is the teams talisman, we can go toe to toe with the best. Saints are back and win, lose, or draw an Tuesday, I am convinced that we will be up there at the end of the season.

I'm not comfortable with over confidence, even though I think this Saints side is the best I've seen for many years I still worry. I'll feel better when the game kicks off on Tuesday and I'm there to see it.

Tony, it's good to have you here. There is a new trend that we should stop all this positive thinking crap and balance it up with some good old caution. the latest must read
