how's it going?
I see Saints A Team got through in Europe quite spectacularly last night, well, got themselves on the way to it anyway
I wish I had sky so I could have watched it, a 7 goal goal-fest is something you don't see very often (although I think we might see that at the weekend)
Anybody know how to clean a sticky mouse pad (steady IM™) without fecking everything up? I haven't got any wipes or anything but wonder what other household product might do the job?

I didn't know that, well that's me buggered then, BT does not get my money and they can only deliver pitiful amounts of Internet to my house anyway so even if the deal was good I couldn't take advantage of it. I guess there must be resellers?

Morning
BT huh? The very definition of a minority channel
Off to work again. I am bloody knackered this week and there is the small matter of a football match looming on Saturday. It's like waiting for an exam that you just know you are going to fail.
Anyway, can't hang around here enjoying myself.

Morning
Nice out, but I'll be in. No surprise that today will be assorted meetings instead of doing anything productive.
We get BT sport via our Virgin pack, but I don't see much use out of it (ok if the Ashes'd been worth watching I might've watched more). Thankfully I didn't watch the Liverpoo game in the vain hope they'd get stuffed; hope Roma do them over in the second leg as that'd be funny, but they guaranteed to win the thing this season to compound our misery.

You don't need to take BT phone and/or internet to get BT Sport (although I think it's cheaper if you do) - it's available as a premium channel on both the Sky and Virgin Media services. To be honest I probably wouldn't bother just for the PL and CL but when BT Sport took over the PL rights from ESPN they inherited the American Sports channel ESPN UK (now re-branded BT/ESPN) - which I need for my fix of baseball and college American football.

Well that was fun. We lost power while I was in the middle of a procedure. The backup generator kept the equipment working but with only a small backup light overhead. Had to have the nurse hold a flashlight for me while I sutured.

Morning
Soon as Liverpool scored I switched off and watched a documentary about the Mosquito raid on Amiens prison in WW2.
Thankfully I got the Kuga back yesterday. Meant trying to get out of bastard Newport at 1700. The roadworks on Staplers Hill kept me sat in a queue for 25m. Imagine my joy to find the only thing between the traffic lights was one fat cnut sheltering from the rain in his lorry. The dogs will be pleased at least. Had to take them to Ventnor and back in the Fiesta again. Then had to leave them for 90m when I fetched the Kuga but got such a welcome when I got back. Plus the garage did the 24 month service which cuts out another trip to Newport.
Have to go there today too - for dog parlour. Tons to do first so better get on.
Cereal. Classic FM.
typed about 0830am - still on screen when I got back!
