After that interview with MOTD that man has gone way up in my estimation. That is someone who cares. He might not be the fastest, he might not be the most mobile, but he sweated blood for the cause today.

Totally agree.. that was a big moment.
I really don’t think we have a bad squad.. some decent players in there. 8 points from 12 games.. they must be feeling angry, frustrated and embarrassed.
Something is clearly wrong at the club..now Les had gone all fingers point to Hughes.
Let’s hope we change things and a new manager turns the talent and passion some of our players have into points.

I don't know, would Charlie be so incensed if Ings had scored that goal and they'd disallowed it? I like the passion, but I don't think it's anything more than a man desperately seeking a goal worrying about himself. That said, that he is that desperate for a goal shows he wants to score a lot and so that's good for Saints

His main beef was with how it impacted on the team; going into the international break with a win is a lot different for a team than a draw. I like Austin’s passion but less so his football.

Another question: what the feck was Yoshida doing that far forward in the first place?? It wasn't a set piece or anything, he just fancied charging forward and hanging around 8 yards from their goal while we were holding onto a precious 1 goal lead. I'm not furious with him, after all he's actually scored a few open play goals from similar scenarios (West Ham and Palace come to mind), but it did look weird.
Also, this is a good scenario to throw back at simpletons who moan "it should be that if you're offside, then you're offside", I assume they were all applauding the flag going up.

It feels all very David Armstrong/Kevin Keegan to me.
