Morning Scummers
Wasn't expecting the wet stuff, neither were the dogs who have learned if they stay close to the house the roof overhang keeps them dry.
My Pre-op Seminar was interesting. In fact, all the speakers were there in person and I learned loads - like knees are more painful than hips: great! Was most interested to hear from Occupational Therapy . He was on last and he said "Hands up all those having their knee replaced. Right, you lot can go home. All you need to know is to keep active". So I'm still none the wiser about when I can drive, walk dogs or go shopping which was hoping to find out. Apparently there will be plenty more contact before I'm called in so I shall raise those questions then.
Finished Those Who Kill III yesterday. Found Series II on i-Player so will look at that next.
Just finished reading The Athletic's massive statistical analysis of all the Euros squads. Can't see further than France or Portugal who are in the Group of Death with Hungary and Germany. Belgium are the other big threat but, with a World Cup next year, their "Golden Generation" are not yet drinking in the "Last Chance Saloon".
Shopping at Tesco today. Spain v Portugal tonight,

Morning
Greyish here, but dry at present...who knows which way it'll go for the weekend (I note it's hot and sunny all next week when I'll be stuck in here though). Hopefully the weekend will be restful, it's been a very long week (despite it only being 4 days). At least the builders have actually done something, and the tiles have finally arrived after being blockaded by the French (of course).
The Mrs has just gone to blighty for a birthday party; I was supposed to go, but couldn't get the time off for when the flights were available. Don't mind the p&q, hopefully i'll be able to watch some cricket (assuming England don't balls it up), don't think I'll bother with the footer friendlies; I'm still beat down after Saints' efforts this year, hopefully I'll've recovered by the time the Euros actually kick off.
