'ow do?
We managed to get out with the dog early today, so although there was a very chilly wind, we walked in the sunshine rather than this horrible rain/hail that's falling now. S is out playing netball, so she didn't avoid getting wet.
Currently watching the Manchester derby in the WSL. United are trying to kick city off the pitch and should probably be down to 10 players already (less than 30 minute splayed).

Started Poor Things this evening - it’s funny and on Disney+. The new Roadhouse film is good too and on Prime. You wait ages to see a decent film and then two come along at once. We watched some right crap last week while we waited for the good ones to become available.
We’ve been mostly running around trying to help sell someone else’s house today. Ms Y is back from Copenhagen and hasn’t taken the news well as she still has PTSD from when we moved here 5 years ago. We won’t be going nearly as far this time around and she’s only got one and a bit years of school to go before uni so it shouldn’t be as disruptive a move as the one we had last time around.
At least the handyman fixed a few things in the process of making it more sellable from under us. He was from Croatia and seemed like a nice guy. At one point I felt like I was living a set-up to a joke as me, him and the Chinese estate agent all tried to fix stuff.
We’ve asked for a rest day tomorrow so the next viewing isn’t until Monday when I will be at work fortunately. The estate agent has suggested an apartment nearby that might be worth us checking out so that sounds promising. It’s only down the road.
I’m knackered and need an early night tonight. This week has been bookended by house move stress and work has been a bit busy too. Yesterday I found out that Internal Audit are going to be doing a routine check on us so that’s going to be a painful process. It’s just one of those weeks but at least it’s not a matter of life and death or anything.

Is it easier to look this time round? as long as you move somewhere on the railway, you can go out as far as the Taunus and still get around easily
