Xabi Alonso is staying at Leverkusen and the vultures are flying away. Him staying means there is a reduced chance that players will exit. Look for a new football dynasty rising in Germany. Our lad Tella made a pretty good call I'd say. FYI

Judging by his lovely last minute assist to help win the game yesterday…. Loving life. Our strikers would have missed anyway

It makes Burnleys campaign to bring Tella home and £8million bid look utterly pathetic. Id love to meet the chairman's daughter and laugh in her face. Good luck to him. My knowledge outside SFC is hopeless (although I shall be cheering on Wolfsburg now), but it's great to see what Leverkuson are doing

It makes Burnleys campaign to bring Tella home and £8million bid look utterly pathetic. Id love to meet the chairman's daughter and laugh in her face. Good luck to him. My knowledge outside SFC is hopeless (although I shall be cheering on Wolfsburg now), but it's great to see what Leverkuson are doing Wolfsburg have moved up the pecking order when I'm tracking Bundesliga results. I can't explain why they plummeted down the table either side of the winter break as early this season they were contesting the "European places" and their Danish striker Jonas Wind was vying with Kane, Boniface and Guirassy for the Golden Boot. Can't be as simple as Wind firing blanks but it saw Nico Kovacs get sacked in his second season and gave Ralph another crack at a league he knows very well. Good luck to him! It wasn't all beer and skittles under Ralph but the trauma of following Saints since he left has scarred me for life...
