I got up early and did my usual trick of farting around and then, after a while, realised that I had to get a move on. We have to leave early as the whole road from the Stonehenge roundabout on the A303 down to Salisbury is closed until July as the contractors are installing the electrical infrastructure for the A303 Stonehenge tunnel. The fricking tunnel is still under appeal, so it is by no means certain that it will even get built. We will try the official bypass along the 303 to the next roundabout, then down through Amesbury and past Old Sarum. Getting onto the A303 with all the Londoners jamming it up after the half-term break will be challenging.
I am looking forward to the game to see if Saints have learned the error of their ways and actually score more than one goal and don't concede, thereby ensuring a slightly less stressed last few minutes of the game for us long-suffering fans. If they manage that AND Dirty Leeds AND Ipswich manage to drop points, then promotion might still be a vague possibility.

Lots of polluting cruise ships in Southampton today, so roads will be busy there too.

I'd spotted the 303 was going to be a balls up but it is my favourite road down west. On Friday I'll take that beautiful 3081 from Ringwood to Shaftesbury and then have the choice of A30 or 303 to the motorway.
Finally overcame the final barrier to ditching fecking Santander (OOTC) and switching to Nationwide. Should all go through next week. At least we left on amicable terms so I'm keeping my Aunt's accounts there - at least until we need to raid them to top up the Cares Fees fund.
Only have to walk Bart then watch, listen and watch football before tea time. Kitcheny tasks while listening to Saints. Watford are playing for fun or pride - either can make for dangerous opponents so we need to keep our foot on their necks (not literally Downsey) for the 90+m today.
Tonight's good TV kicks off to late so I'll record that and catch up with Hightown which I ought not to like - but I do. If I can identify with some of those oddball characters it says much about me FFS!

Good Morning Chaps my route from Midanbury to the 5 Rivers pub looks fairly clear wins today and Tuesday are a must and hope 2 others at the top take a slump in form, this is a crazy year, 86 points would normally be enough for auto promotion, this year we should exceed that but i think at least 95 pts will be needed

Only one ship in as we arrived, no problems with the traffic, even reasonably quiet in West quay

Afternoon all.
We made ourselves scarce this morning while some viewings took place but now we’re going to have a look at a place this afternoon. If it ticks all the boxes then we might just go for it and give the landlord his notice so we don’t have to keep going out of our way and facilitating the sale of someone else’s house for an indefinite period. If we give notice then we can get moving on clearing out and getting ready for the new place.
I don’t know who’s got our deposit since the house changed hands but they can keep it as long as I don’t have to arrange for someone to come and repaint the whole house after we’ve moved out. The Chinese estate agent seems to be a force of nature so I might leave all that in her capable hands.
The viewing is at 3.30pm but it’s only just down the road and the estate agent is giving us a lift so I’m hoping to be back for KO at 4pm or thereabouts. I haven’t even checked that I can watch it so I must do that too.
Ms Y is off to Mainz later for some mega party. She didn’t get home until midnight last night and this thing goes on until 3am so she’ll be out for the count tomorrow.

It's B's birthday, so we were out with the family for a cup of tea and some food, now most of them are painting pottery, then everyone is coming back to our house for a takeaway. Currently the dog and me are relaxing at home listening to Saints (I think the dog may have dosed off though).
Also, feck the Grand National.
