The club were unwise enough to send me a Customer Satisfaction Survey after the match on Saturday. I gave the lowest scores I have ever done and used every available box to let them know how unhappy I was.
Today, I got an email to say that, as I am in the block right next to the away fans, I will have to pay more next season and will also be required to move when more away seating is required. In the circumstances, I might like to move to the Northam "safe standing" area, be part of the "Wall of Sound" (© Sports Republic 2024), and pay less than I do at the moment. FFS!!

Sorry, this is a long post.
It is a very long time since I last posted on here, although I regularly read. I called the Ticket Office yesterday to understand how the stadium changes would affect my season tickets.
I currently buy 4 season tickets: my own regular adult ticket, my father-in-laws OAP ticket & my 2 daughters youth tickets. I should advise that my daughters rarely attended these days (typical teenagers) but we have continued to renew their season tickets so we can take the foster kids we regularly host. All 4 season tickets are in the current, soon to be moved, family section.
From yesterdays call I have been advised the following.
The family section is now moving to Blocks 13 to 16. The Family Section will now be for children up to 14 & their parent/guardians. This is another change for me as the current family section is for children & young-adults up to 18. My kids are 14 & 16 so we can no longer get Season tickets in the Family Section. Those now youth tickets, whereever they end up being, will be more expensive than the current pricing, regardless of the price increases detailed below. We will be officially advised of the season ticket options available to us once the club know if they are to remain the Championship or Premiership. Across the board, all season ticket prices are increasing. If we remain in the Championship the increase is circa 10% & if promoted, circa 15%.
I’ve had these 4 season tickets for over a decade & my own since St. Mary’s opened (although that was originally in the Northam).
I could not be less interested in the standing facility, other than it now results in my having to move & incur additional additional cost. Perhaps Sports Republic deem my 4 season tickets a less attractive demographic cross-section.
It’s all very disappointing, perhaps on par with the current football 😀.

It could have been a 8 or 9 - consistently entertaining football & automatic promotion (although I’m unsure if we are current ready for promotion) It was, until about 4 or 5 weeks ago, veering towards a 7 - rather inconsistent - good football with occasional examples of awful football & possible promotion via the play-offs As of today it’s probably a 6 - a spluttering finish to the season, a chance of promotion via the play-offs, and a looming change to my persona football day experience.

Is Rustyball really entertaining? It seems far more concerned with keeping possession than scoring goals. It's all so very slow and ponderous. I think many don't find it in any way entertaining. What a contrast to how we played, with pace, under Koeman who told his players to 'look for the killer pass as soon as possible'.

This lot running the club are still messing it up with Dragan’s money three years later. Some of the stories I’ve heard from inside chill me to the core and this is another one.
I’ve got three tickets, an adult and two kids, I take my daughter and any one of her friends/cousins any given Saturday. The cost of that is going to be out of reach as she turns 15.
This is all right for the club if the stadium is full every week, you wait until we are midtable drawing 0-0 with Blackburn, let’s see the sense in that then. As for moving bodies, why, why the actual? It makes no sense to try and prove something unproven.
As said a year ago. Ankerson and Kraft are getting away with murder here…

Leaving it a bit late if all these changes are supposed to be in place by August?

Minor works - small application. I’m not familiar with Southampton, but many Local Authorities will process applications like this within 6 weeks, especially if there is a good ongoing relationship. Others can, indeed, take many months. I expect this will go through on the nod.
