dontknowcantremember has done something I thought was impossible — he has written a great report on Tuesday's disaster of a match! He also makes some valid points in summing up what has gone wrong, and all laced with not a little humour. So, no matter the result, make a point of reading the report on the IBO website here

That’s a good report. Thanks for that.
I missed most of the last half hour of the game as I was furiously drafting my post-match rant.
In my rage I forgot to mention that their crucial first goal was offside so they got lucky there.
In the build-up to the second KWP got knocked to the ground and then kicked in the head but apparently that was fine too.
Then we fell apart at the back and never really looked like scoring. I’ve still got PTSD from previous Leicester thrashings so I didn’t take this one well. Why is it always them?

good report, horrible game to watch though (if you are a Saints Fan) thank you sir PS channonite, still can't read that text very well on the background, it's just not defined enough, the contrast is not high enough between the colour of the text and the background

Well, that report was far more entertaining than watching many Saints games recently. Top work, sir.

Just needs to be something a little more than it is. I will leave it in your capable hands for next seasons upgrade

When Channers asks for volunteers to write about the Euros I'd love to read dontknowcantremember covering the England games.

This made me think of the first Leicester humiliation I watched standing in the rain at the Archers End as a twelve year old with my friend Clive and his mum, laughing as the rain dropped off the end of her lovely retroussé nose. October 1967 it seems. Saints were already 1-4 down when a young Peter Shilton aimed a long punted clearance towards our penalty area. It bounced awkwardly in front of an out of position Campbell Forsyth, over his head and nestled gently in the net in front of us. We laughed in amazement and went home for Doctor Who. Perhaps doomed to repeat every time there’s a new Doctor. Weirdly too, Peter Rodrigues was playing for Leicester that day. Little did we know our happiest day was to follow a few years later.

What is it with Saints and Leicester FFS? We always make them look like Brazil in 1970. It’s so weird.
