Meanwhile, Leicester sign Oliver Skipp 2 or 3 points deductions should wipe that improvement off the scorecard. EDIT - I see you read the same article. Quite so! Frightening article for any Leicester fan. I’m sure the excitement of any new signing (and I’ve no doubt Skipp is a good one..) is tempered by the threat of severe FFP consequences. I really hope SR has a strong grasp of the balance sheet. The City case will be interesting for clubs at both ends of the PL table. |

The issue is we have known Bazunu is out (yes, you all know what I think of him and have from day one, but he is out for most the season so not even a footnote), and McCarthy is tried and tested ‘not really good enough’. What I don’t understand is buying Archer, Lesley, CB’s nowhere near the team, and not having sorted keeper yet.
Go to Arsenal, and do a good offer, with a ‘take it or leave it’. Go to Palace with a good offer and a take it or leave it. Crikey, you could get Kepa, Chelsea are in the shit. Just get it done.
It is unreal we haven’t scored this by now.

As a ball playing keeper he might be ideal!! We already really well covered in midfield now, I’d love to see him break the Becks record in a Saints shirt, but would imagine he’ll go to a mid table side - Fulham or Brentford maybe, or Palace for a laugh with their fans!! |
