Hi Libs. Why would anyone mind you posting on here? You silly sausage. Have you tried Freecycle? Google it and find a local group near you. It lets people advertise stuff they don't want any more and if yoy can pick it up it's yours for free. If you need a hand picking stuff up drop me a line and if I am around I'll help you out.

Could potentially get rid of some odd bits n bobs, but fancy might be a bit too far away to be of any use...

Don't know where you are but worth googling "Emmaus" and seeing if they have a local Community to you. They are a charity that takes homeless people off the streets, gives them a bed, but - most relevantly to you - recycles old furniture and sells it incredibly cheaply. So you could furnish your whole flat economically and know that you've helped rehabilitate some of society's less fortunate. There's an Emmaus Hampshire community next to the Bar End Recycling Centre in Winchester if that's of any use.
Oh, and for anyone else reading, don't chuck furniture away that you've finished with, give them a call and they'll look at taking it off you and refurbishing it and selling it on. They collect and deliver. It's a fantastic set-up.

If I am working at Chilcomb next week I will nip in and take a look.
