In truth I wrote that a couple of weeks ago, just after the draw with P'boro. It is no secret that I'm not a Cortese fan, and I didn't want to put such a large long post on here. This, I think, is not the place to put up what could be described a critique of the club and it's CEO. TBF you heard it so often from others over on TUI, and I aware you are seeking a little respite from that. So it was saved in my wordpad, and bought out this morning, after we had a little taste of reality on Tuesday. Must admit,I did expect a backlash, but to be fair they took it well and didn't try to go to extremes.

I always enjoy reading your posts Pat. I thought that one was a good summary of all that has happened.
I don't mind reading views critical of the club, it's just when there seems to be an agenda behind it I get irritated.

Seems reasonable enough to me Pat. I don't think anybody thinks the club or Cortese are perfect. It's one thing to look at things objectively and it's quite another to spend time going out of your way to find things to pick at.

One point you made grabbed my attention Pat:
"Nicola will either be the most successfull chairman of this club, or he will end up eventually as a hate figure."
This may be true but I hope it's not. If he brings us success he will have done his job. If not he will be considered a failure by his own standards. However he has done a lot to bring the club kicking and shouting into the 21st Century. I hope he gets credit for that.
I've no doubt that he has trodden on a few peoples feelings but why should the general fan base hate him?
