"I might tell Mr Beasley (NOTW) lies but I don't tell this Court lies. I'm the most ungreedy person you ever met - ever, ever. Give me bible back and I'll put my hand back on it."

Given the facts, the most I thought he could get was a slap on the wrists and a fine. After his two week performance of anger, claims of ignorance and general bollox I think he could well have talked himself into a custodial.

There is absolutely no way he'll be found guilty.

There is absolutely no way he'll be found guilty. Unfortunately not... there is rarely any justice in this world. Annoyingly, our guest last weekend, when the topic of Pissflaps came up said she'd met him a few times and thought he was quite a nice bloke. I'dve thrown her out the house, but I valued my knackers too much.

I've heard much the same. Every coont seems to think he is somewhere between Jesus and the Queen Mother (Gawd rest her soul) apart from supporters of SFC.
Can only conclude we must be an odd bunch.

I wonder what his adoring fans in the press will think of his claim that it's ok to lie to journalists.

I wonder what his adoring fans in the press will think of his claim that it's ok to lie to journalists. He was only "trying to get him off the phone". Next time I'm trying to get a moaning parent or HSBC off the phone I'll tell them I've got a bank account in Monaco with a bung in it.

Ok....what am I missing. Why would a guy of his wealth try and avoid tax on such a small amount of money?

Ok....what am I missing. Why would a guy of his wealth try and avoid tax on such a small amount of money? That is how you get to be "a guy of his wealth"...

Exactly, he's one of those people who's mastered the art of appearing to be a lovely butter-wouldn't-melt-chappy while deep down being a coont. Worst sort of coont for me, that's why I've always disliked him; wouldn't trust him as far as I could toss a hippo.

At the end of the day he has committed a crime, right? Surely it doesn't matter what he says, he did it and is guilty. Or am I missing something here?
