the only way you could actually find out whether this was true is to use identically genetic people despite the American dream and popular propaganda that "everyone is capable of anything", that is completely untrue.
Some people are born brilliant some people are born thick and most of us are born somewhere in the middle, just as some people are great athletes and some aren't, I'm not sure this study could ever be accurately undertaken?
It plays to prejudice nicely though, although I would have thought the Daily Mail would of reported the findings the other way round?

I can't see it's anything to do with left and right...more that thick people are more easily conned into believing extreme views, and harder to talk out of them once they believe them.
