Ruddy heck it's brisk.
Still, I remembered to wear my bovva-boots today, so no draft round the ankles.
No tea yet, which is a shocking state of affairs. But The Ruts have just come on, so I'll stay and listen to this first.
The game tomorrow isn't going to be postponed because of snow is it? From the weather forecast this morning it seems snow is going to hit the midlands later on tomorrow. Stupid early evening kick-off.

Morning all,
Rather nipply innit, but maybe less so than yesterday. I too am sporting a boot (or two) this morning; which is a boon. Not a lot to report otherwise, got to hit some deadlines today.
Don't say that, Tone; having missed Tue I'll be nonplussed if the game's called off & I miss my first chance (albeit at a remote) to view the newandimproved Saints. See Mr Eye, snow only brings misery and stress.

morning, too cold for me, I'm thinking about listening to music but I'm not defrosted enough to think about moving at the moment.
Not sure about the game, I guess it depends on whether Birmingham have undersoil heating or not?
Stupid day yesterday, I'm glad it's today today

G'day
It's brrrrrr innit.
One of the 'benefits' of living with an arty type is that you do get to see yourself, literally, as others see you. Ms StB was doodling away last night as I was making a mid-evening snack of bacon butties and opening a bottle of vino (in fairness I had missed all meals since a hurried lunch). Glancing at her scribbles later I thought 'Who is that fat bastard?' ....Hmmmmm!! Last time she did a painting of me it started off looking like the pope - not the current, Hitler youth, one but the (early) polish one.
R2 tea n'toast
Have a good day, y'all

Howdy. Bloody cold here today too. More snow a little this morning. Not too bad though. I am driving up to Reims this afternoon to show my son around the school and see if he wants to study there. I shall drive back tomorrow and see if I can hear the match in the car via TuneIn Radio over the 3G network, on which I am currently listening to England skittle out the Pakistanis.

Morning
Cold ain't it? I've taken to wearing a fleece indoors FFS! But no precipitation yet, thanks be.
I ordered some new curtains for our lounge by phone last week. The bird on the phone said they'd take up to 28 days. She was right insofar as the buggers turned up yesterday. Under promise, over deliver, etc.
Need to go buy some curtain poles to hang 'em on. I'm getting rid of all the poxy dust-collecting gadgetry that is currently installed in favour of something even I can understand. Job to do next week if we are snowed in....
Going to wrap up warm and take the dogs down to Bembridge Harbour today. If I survive that I'll treat myself to pie and chips at the Tollgate Cafe. Rock on.

Drove into a bastard drain and got a flat tyre. Motor is stood out there wearing a toy tyre while garage sorts the proper one out. No lunch out for me today.
