Yes, but only because it is for some reason so poorly administered.

Is it spoiling Test cricket ? discuss Not at all... I think by helping overtaking, it makes it more watchable. Although I don't think they should wait for 2 laps before being able to deploy it! Oh! You're not on about the Drag Reduction System??

The BCCI are spoiling test cricket. But they won the cricket world cup so why worry that the last 3 test series you have played were utter sh7te...........They beat us in WI but it was a pathetic tour and only a lack of belief stopped the Windies beating them. The ICC make FIFA look like a well run organisation

Is it spoiling Test cricket ? discuss I like it, just need fine tuning. 20 twenty is killing test cricket, as the game has changed so much. Most test don't last 4 days now. Not saying its a bad thing, everything must evolve or die.

The idea in itself is a good one. There is nothing more frustrating than being given out when it blatantly wasn't, and vice versa as a bowler. But the way it is deployed needs serious consideration. At present it can be used as a tactical ploy by captains and that is absolutely not its purpose.
That said, there are some improvements needed from a technical point of view. At present, it can be a little slow to prepare its images and that helps to cause the long delays when a review happens.
Strikes me that the fairest way to do it would be that any LBW appeal or catch from a thin edge goes to review and the initial decision is made by the system rather than the umpire. The umpire should have the remit to reject an appeal based on certain obvious criteria (no ball, pitching outside leg) but after that the initial decision has to go upstairs immediately. This should keep frivolous appealing to a minimum but it would no longer give the umpire the remit to make the decision itself. And that is where the improvements in technology need to come in; more decisions will go upstairs so they would have to speed the process up.
