They weren't lying about the severe weather. Worst conditions I've ever driven in. 30 mph on the M42 (there are some f%king idiot drivers out there!). Got home at 02.20 to a very smug Mrs. hidden who had the 'told you so' expression on her chops.
Morgan was immense. Punch did well too.

I feel for you hedgey, and am amazed at your forebearance. I'm in no way a violent man, but if my Mrs had been anything but sympathetic, I'dve kicked off...

Passing cars that had spun off or conked was guilt ridden but you had to stay in the tracks of the car in front or a long cold wait would have been on the menu. Even stopping to help push would have caused problems. Passed 2 gritting lorries in the whole journey. Schadenfreude is a dish best served in snow if you have ever been cut up or sensed disdain by or from a flash Mercedes owner. They were dotted along the route home, all resplendent with there high tech hazard lights blinking away but going absolutely f%king nowhere.

It was interesting to see the anti- 4X4 whingers went very quiet after last years bad weather. Out here in the sticks, other than horses and tractors, they're about all that moves.
