But I'm up now. Can't really be bothered to think about England. I thought Capello was ok, anyone who can win Serie A with Roma is fine with me. Not I care much about the national team. Redcrap will just pick the same old players and it'll be just the same as it's been for years. Right, I'm going to the post office.

G’day finks and phreaks
We’ve still got oodles of snow outside; let’s get some sunshine on it!
It’s cold outside and now it’s cold inside as our half-witted oil suppliers have royally fecked up and let our tank run out. Despite them fitting a device to the tank which rings them up when it needs refilling, despite them taking the best part of a grand a month on DD (and accumulating over 4 grand of our money overpaid) they now say that it’s the machine’s fault for not working and they can’t do an emergency delivery because all their lorries are going out to people who have also run out of oil. Bunch of useless festering blisters!
So ‘Arry made a dash for freedom - at least he has a modicum of talent (but, please God, not ‘Cry Harry for England FFS) - seeing Storrie banged up would have brightened quite a few peoples’ day. Ingratiating twonk. Oh well, some other time.
Have a good day, y’all

Probably.
Got to spend time indoors today - no great hardship in this weather! Old suite being collected today and new sofas coming this afternoon.
Hope I'll be able to get dogs out at some stage. Took them on Ryde beach yesterday. On the out leg with the wind at my back it was quite pleasant - coming back the left side of my face went numb in the bastard cold FFS!
I see nothing good coming from the "popular" movement to install Pissflaps as England manager. I was just a kid in 1966 so winning the World Cup didn't mean that much to me. Never occured to me we'd never win the thing again in my lifetime. If they appoint that wanker there is no way I'll live long enough to see the National Team recover.
The shit-flavoured icing on the cake would be if Spurs are built into an all-conquering dynasty by Mourinho or his ilk. I don't think I could bear that.
Listening to New Scorpion Band whose beautiful version of the old shanty "The Capstan Bar" has to be just about the finest thing I've heard in the last 12-months. Wonderfully played and sung.
Off to Sussex tomorrow for a 60th birthday party. Then to Soton on Saturday for a home win - PLEASE!

Am I the only person around who thinks 'Arry will probably do OK, or at least should probably get a go. It'll shut the media up for a bit anyway. Think the job is ideal for him, he does seem to get the best out of players and is doing pretty well at the minute. I know he was a shower of festering shite when he was here but the whole flippin' club was a shambles No? OH well, I don't give one about England anyway...
Very cold in that London, music TBC. 32 of yer English quids to watch West Ham boot the ball skywards, geeze!

Morn' Cold. Arry eh? FA eh? Journos eh? You get what you deserve, I suppose. He may do ok with the old guard because, as has been said, people seem to want to play for him. But we won't get a foundation for a strong and long future.

Well the post office's probably the next best thing, most of the people there look asleep/dead anyway. Morning all, feel a bit funny today, but not sure how. Might have something to do with the shirt; I often have to get dressed in the dark, and today I seem to have accidentally worn a bright orange ones, which is probably not helping my mental state; especially as I have to go to the board meeting shortly. Had a chinese themed night last night - our lodger bought us a takeaway of such, and we watched John Woo's epic Red Cliff (or at least the first 1/2 of it)... it's pretty good, I especially like the big feller in it: who is apparently playing Pigsy in the new Monkey remake (anyone know if we're going to get that over here anytime soon?) Spose I'd better get on..

Morning
I watched Red Cliff as well. Fantastic, if a little on the long side. I have the attention span for it though!
Harry this, Harry that, yada, yada, yada......
We have probably got days of this to look forward to.

I love little piggy wiggies. They're grrroink! Now I'm a bit confused - there appear to be 2 films coming out (The Monkey King with Chow Yun-Fat & Journey To The West) this year and 2 TV series of Journey to the West... which is THE one?!? OK, well since our film expert and pig expert can't tell me, I'll find out myself! It looks like there is a trilogy of films (the first being released here as The Monkey King) www.imdb.com/title/tt1717715/However I bet the series is worth a watch for Monkey fans (and it's the one with Jinsheng Zang in ... apparently it's the most expensive ever in Chinese TV history, and the people from X men are doing the SFX wiki.d-addicts.com/Journey_to_the_West_(2011)Just for a laugh, here he is again:
