Our goal difference advantage is nearly gone, meaning we now need something from all three of our remaining games to be sure of promotion. Boro won today to put them right back in with a chance of the play-offs. We have managed one win in four whereas West Ham will probably romp home having won 6-0 today.
With all that and Pompey somehow winning at Donny to just about stay alive, what a fecking weekend this is turning into. I'm afraid to leave the house- everything's gone to c*n*.

How many "must win" games have we had this year! And I think we've lost or drawn them all. That that makes the rest of our games must lose games, right.

Still, I'd take points on the board over momentum any day.

He speaks for me ... Somebody find something positive FFS! I just made quite a scary chilli... I thought I'd had some sort of stroke and the Mrs' head looked like a tomato. Surely that's a positive. Oh and one of my picks won the National

Right, I'll restore some sanity.
It was an unlucky loss to our closest rival. If we win Tuesday then it lessens the blow and heaps pressure back on West Ham. It's that simple, keep winning and we get promoted. I'd go so far to say that IF we win all 3 then we could well overtake Reading, who I reckon will slip up in at least one game.
I'd rather be in our position than in West Ham's. It's down to NA to enforce that to the squad. It's in our hands, put in the same performance as we did Friday in all 3 games and we will finish second if not first.

Can we lock this thread as well please? I started it when I was hungover and miserable. Tomorrow night will inevitably be nerve-wracking, but games against teams with nothing to play for are exactly what you want at this stage.
