Giggs is playing very narrow. Zabaleta looking a world-beater as a result. Park looks lost, United's transitions have been poor and their passing out of defence dreadful. The goal was NOT a good advert for man-to-man marking. Bet Hansen doesn't bring that up on MOTD.
So... how are City going to feck it up?

Why's Mancini swapped Nasri to the left? He tore Evra a new arse in the first half!

feck knows.
They seem to have been rotating the midfield and playing narrower to allow the FBs to overlap more.

Uniteds zero shots on target suggests Mancini knows what he is doing

Ferguson seems to have lost the plot tactically- I can't help but think that his skills as a motivator have got them this far. While Scholes has been as excellent as ever since his return, the decision to bring him back screamed desperation and the team selection last night and heavy reliance on the old guard suggest he doesn't trust the new.
The United team that won the European Cup most recently was possibly the most fluid British team ever. Last night they looked rigid. What has changed? I know they've lost Ronaldo and Tevez but there has also been a tactical regression- suddenly he seems happy to cede the middle of the pitch yet still expects to control the game. Was Queiroz still there when they were last European champions?

I think you're right about not trusting the new blood, Ferguson knows enough to know the current crop are not really that good.
Scholes was desperation, this is the worst United team for quite a few years and it says something about the Premier league that no one has been able to generate the impetus to go away from them to win the title...

I think Fergie has finally lost it. He looked mental squaring up to Mancini.
(Cue 10 straight Premiership titles and five Champions League victories).

Yeah, they've just taken advantage of a power vacuum. Chelsea in transition, Arsenal still embroiled in Wenger's quest to win the title in the most insane way possible, Spurs managed by Harry Redknapp, Liverpool returned to the dark ages by "King Kenny", Man City not ready and retaining their traditional commitment to fecking themselves up wherever possible...
