I think Beattie deserves another crack at the Championship. How's he getting on?

I think Beattie deserves another crack at the Championship. How's he getting on? He’s not been fit enough to get involved too often but when he comes on things happen. He came on against Stevenáge last Sat and his presence alone changed everything. He’s definitely got a big goal in him. I have deep love for him.

I don't remember Jim Bone. Shame.
I saw a lot of the other guys on Baz's post play though. Badger and Helmsley were the full backs with McAlister in goal. Salmons vied with Scullion for the left wing berth. The lad McKenzie looked a stylish player too but never did much else.
One of the best matches I ever saw was this one. Enjoy!
Look out for the cracking save - by United's #8!

I have preferred The Pigs (Blades) over The Pigs (Owls) ever since BBC did a great documentary following United to promotion in 1990. They seem more the people's club in Sheffield. I also had the good fortune of spending a day drinking with pop star Blade Paul Heaton last summer, and he was great entertainment.
Think I drank in t'Brown Bear in Sheffield last time, but cant remember fully.

I often see Paul out on his bike in Didsbury. We ‘Up the Blades’ each other fairly regularly. Top bloke. For the record, THEY’RE The Pigs – Hillsborough was built on an old pig farm. You know when you’re about 6 and someone calls you a name and you say ‘NO, yooooou are’. It’s basically that for them. That’s their level of ‘banter’. newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/41559000/jpg/_41559330_agana203.jpg[/img]

Theme Tune by Judas Priest (I think), day glo away kit, Dave Bassett appearing likeable, and Wilf Rostrons missus working on the perfume counter in Debenhams. Halycon days.
