Ancient Aunt got carted off to hospital yesterday so had to go and see her instead of going shopping. She seemed OK to me - made as much sense as she usually does but had the doctors tied in knots. Doesn't look like their tests showed anything too serious so they are keeping an eye on her now. All she wants to know is when can she go home!
Enjoyed Chelsea's win yesterday despite the appalling punditry of Andy Townsend - I know he is a former Saint but, by heck, doesn't he talk some bollocks? Dread to think I'll have to watch half the Euro 2012 games on bloody ITV. At least I can watch the CL final on Sky.
Looking forward to Newcastle v Man City today. These are a couple of great teams to watch and my dream is that Saints will soon be playing with the same panache. I want City to win as I hate Man Yoo!
Fell asleep during the second hour of The Bridge last night but I record it just for such eventualities. Off to watch it now. Will then get some bacon under the grill.
Tara.

Morning. Watched the cup final and it got quite good towards the end. The whole thing is spoiled by Adrian Chiles (I don't know why, I have an irrational hatred of the guy as a presenter - from back to the One Show, he seems a smug, ignorant fool), to the punditry. For the Euros it will be them or Harry and Lawro. Gawd help us.

Morning
No rain here.
The FACup passed me by with little interest. Funnily if the kick off had been at 3pm, then I could have watched it, but I was busy from 5pm onwards.
Yesterday morning I dug out some of my old Saints programmes from 2003/4 and it seems such a long time ago now, looking back at them.
Off out to get some floor and wall tiles for the kitchen. Both B&Q & Wickes have Bank Holiday sales. So that is today sorted.

Morning fellow blokes etc.
Watched the Final while reading the paper. Thought it was OK. Right result and it's good to let off steam - in this case hurling foul and abusive language at Townsend and Chiles. As big a pair of bollocks as you'll ever see on ITV before the watershed.
Quite enjoying the Bridge although am totally confused as we missed the first week's and the end gets in the way of MOTD and last night HIGNFY+1.

Update.
Sun is out. Only a few wispy clouds. Very summery.
Off out to do battle with the masses at DIY stores. I may regret this.
If it is too bad we will return and cut the grass. I am not sure I can take all this excitement.

I watched the cup final on ESPN, not perfect but better than ITV. I didn't care who won (I didn't want either team to win), but I always watch the cup final.
Been out this morning and bought a tea pot. That's it.
