It's not raining here, there was a brief shower earlier, but it's dry now.
That's all I have to say really.
More tea needed. We have a new teapot you know.

grey, chilly, it could be yesterday…
Stuck here on my own with children as my wife has to work today…bank holidays just aren't fun
New jam is the entire rumours album by Fleetwood Mac, why pick one track when you can have all of it?

Morning. I saw the Fleetwood Mac thing on BBC 4. Rumours is indeed a fine album. That Stevie Nicks still looks lovely. Picked up my musicians yesterday and having them all up here for BBQ for lunch with my organising committee. Very excited. This is one of the hottest bands in Bluegrass today ... I would make a very good groupie. Fortunately the sun is dominating the sky today but there is a chilly breeze blowing.

Good Day Bank holidays are not what they used to be. Glad to see Man City win yesterday - shame it was Newcastle who got beat but the prospect of seeing Ferguson, Rooney et al sulking when they end the season with nowt will make it all worthwhile. Supposed to brighten up later so will visit Aunt in hospital and walk the dogs before settling down to watch West Ham/Cardiff and Wigan/Blackburn. Bought some lovely eggs from the farm where the erotic pigs live. Just off to knock up an omlette for breakfast. Good to see Chung pick up an award at the end of season bash. He will be mustard next season!

Morning all. A little grey out, but the air is still and not too cold, so seeing as beggars cannot be choosers I am going to rate it as being quite nice outside.
Off to Brighton today to spend our wedding gift money on fings for the house. Lunch will be fish and chips and dinner will be at our fave seafood restaurant. We will also probably go on the rides on the pier.

Wotcha! Sort of cloudy, sort of grey but it's dry...so far. I was going to slide off to the golf course for a bit of practise but we're going visiting this p.m. in Jezza's 'hood. I really think that women should set up video-conferencing links and sit at home with a cuppa and a piece of cake - why do they have to be in the same room? I suppose that Mike and I can go look at his new motorbike and I'll take the brochure for our new car (which arrived two months after we'd ordered the new car! - but four months before the car does!!) Watching football yesterday on TV I was struck by how aposite it is that Celtic have a player called Hooper. I think we should get one called Stripes. And Man Ure must get hold of Richard Dunne - if only so that I can hear the commentators say ' ..it's a lovely pass, Cleverley, Dunne ......' Sting Have a good day y'all

Afternoon all. What's the point of Bank Hols? The weather's always crap and most shops are shut so there's no escape from it. We are in Caversham, the posh bit of Reading, and only one eatery was open. Luckily the food was nice. I'm glad we chickened out of Wetherspoons at the last minute. That's no place for a child.
We were going to an outdoor craft fair but decided against it so we're just ambling round the few open shops instead.
I must get out of the country for the Jubilee weekend. Or at least into the wilderness, like Withnail & I (hopefully without Uncle Monty).

Lovely day here, so BBQ and remarkable jam session on the terrace with my new best friends the Gibson Brothers Bluegrass band. God, those guys have great voices - not vocal group of the year for nothing! Plus, they found a youtube version of my band playing one of their songs and said, tactfully, they were honoured

Evnin all,
Been a heavy one, but just about made it through; feel quite shady though. But it was worth it, great wedding especially as it closed a circle for us; the bride n groom met at our wedding!
Sorry cowboy, didn't get to see much of Sheff but the Cutlers' was pretty impressive (I had to stop myself stealing the giant butter knife!) and we managed to grab a quick scoot on the moors. Weather wasn't bad either; especially on Sun. Bit of a trek back, thanks to LUL axing 1/2 the tube, but back home munching pizza now.
Is that English's Batts? We're quite fond of there too... mmm mmm.

Oh, and they can stick that Olympic flame up their arses too!
