I wouldn't f**k the monarchy but I would happily show Kate Middleton what a man with a full head of hair can do.
I can't believe we topped one and then had his son back 20 years later. So close FPS!

I watched a bit of the wedding on the BBC Player and although the monarchy aren't my cup of tea I don't really begrudge middle Englanders enjoying their day. They can do what they like, it doesn't make a difference to my life so good luck to them. I have to admit to having a bit of a thing for Kate's mum though.

KATE - WOULD YOU SMASH IT? CLAPS I don't think you're allowed to anymore. Health and safety innit. You have to open and pour instead.

I'm going to attempt to watch the highlights at 8:30.
I sincerely hope they've edited out the punditry. Where do the Beeb keep those arseholes between state occasions? Surely they don't let them wander the streets FFS.
And blokes discussing the dress FFS!!! "Would you?" is a fair question. Debates about the dress are well out of order unless you are an old boiler. FACT.
Still good luck to them. No rain, no suicide bombers. Turned out nice after all.

I have an admission. I watched the wedding from when she arrived at Westminster Abbey, until they went back inside from the balcony at Buck house and do you know what?
I enjoyed it!
We might not be able to build to aircraft carriers on budget, but we sure know how to do a state occasion. The whole thing was tasteful and well organised.
Unfortunately the rest of the country was not so tasteful. Chavvy street parties and stuff. Uuuuugh!
I have a request, can we now get on with our lives without endless action replays and interviews with everyone that has ever met either of them FFS?

We walked round to our friends' house earlier just in time to see a bunch of local yoof (and one of their mothers) knocking lumps out of each other in the park. Obviously the day of drinking in the sunshine had got a bit too much for the poor dears. Bless. They did get a bit miffed whan I laughed at them.

We did take advantage of the quiet to do our weekly shop (it was bliss) and I dozed most of the afternoon. That was when I played my first "well, I am retired" card. However last night I sat and watched the whole 90 mins of the Beeb's highlights. Started a bit dodgy with "royal watchers" on the couch, but once they'd locked them up till Harry gets hitched, the rest of the show was brilliant. Doesn't take an event of that magnitude to prove Britain is the best country in the world - that is beyond doubt. But I must say when the Battle of Britain Flight buzzed The Mall, I almost stood up and saluted. FACT. I hope they lead a happier life than Wills' mother seems to have done.

Exactly what I said to MrsC as Wills and Kate kissed on the Buck House balcony.
